This is exactly why Octra stands out. Tor’s 2.5M users prove the demand for privacy, but Octra makes it fast, tokenized, and fully programmable via HFHE + Circles. Not just hiding txs — real encrypted compute for DeFi, AI inference, and private apps. Bullish on the programmable privacy substrate thesis 🔥

every new passing day is an ad for a fast and reliable substrate built around general purpose encrypted compute tor has 2.5 million daily users, how many would it have if it accessible like VPN, tokenized like web3, and programmable like a personal OS?

Great update with v1.2.1 🔥 The Private Balance guide + Octra Circles (oct://) support is what I'm most excited about. PVAC cache and verifier improvements should make the privacy features much smoother to use in practice. Huge thanks to the 0xio team! Keep up the great work 🙏

Here we go again — same pattern as Quant (Overledger) and BitTensor (TAO subnets). The FUD hits hardest exactly when the team is heads-down on security + core tech upgrades. Looking at Octra TAPE verifier, on-chain inference improvements, and App Launchpad rollout, it’s following the exact same growth path. Strongly believe in the FHE tech. Holding steady. 💪

Latest update from Octra, which is also placing a strong focus on its security system. Ignore the FUD. If you believe in the technology and the product, just hold. If not, feel free to sell. Octra…

some info about upcoming mini-updates and the mini-roadmap: - a planned transition to a new proof format (TAPE verifier), natively supported by hfhe (field core), is scheduled for next week, it will lead to faster processing of heavy txs and increased security, however, this also has a trade off, as a migration to the new ct-format (client side manual re-encryption) will be prepared (stress free, one tx), details will be provided later, once we've completed this - expanded circle functionality and app launchpad directly within the network, minimal deployment at startup, and a flexible way to deploy code, debug, and configure security settings, circles from the examples are becoming a truly universal tool for running proprietary private computing. - a small breakthrough in on-chain inference (a fully open LLM circle, optimized specifically for ML, has become even faster), in the app launchpad, you simply select the interface, an available model, and deploy with a customizable access level - a small release of a private tx example on the EVM network (evm sepolia/octra devnet ), a non-blocking pool, etc - bridge update and stealth bridge capability - other minor thing 1: a lite node will be available any day in the next two weeks (along with a convenient launch container) - other minor thing 2: mini-paper release ps: we spent the last week working on security, so things have been a bit quiet some ppl tried to sour the mood, but we’re not too bothered, work goes on thanks for your support Chiefs and wish you a good start to the new week

@ChillTRD @ChillTRD You don't mention Hypertensor. The one that's in the final phase before mainnet. You yourself know the potential, I don't need to explain it to you. $tensor

@lambda0xE Lite Node and Stealth Bridge are coming soon too! It feels like FHE is really being properly realized, which is great. Team, thanks for all the hard work on security as well. OCT Chiefs, fighting! 🚀

thanks to the massive attention to the privacy sector and octra in recent weeks, we received a few credible bug reports and improvement suggestions from external researchers that have been implemented and will be published separately we are finishing up all essential security updates and checks, and will be returning to regular product release schedule right after: node release, hyperevm integration, multi-ecosystem stealth bridge, hfhe-llm interface, etc

If you're not comfortable buying a token because the project isn't mature enough for you, you can just not buy. The whole point of crypto is to let everyone trade more freely. If you think a project is overvalued relative to its maturity, just don't buy, or go short the token.

Wow, this Recrypt explanation is excellent 🔥 63 consecutive successful noise resets + fully open-source benchmarks… The Lambda team just crushed one of the biggest Holy Grails in FHE. This means Octra is no longer a “limited-step toy FHE” — it’s now a real infrastructure with unlimited computation depth. True Private DeFi, on-chain encrypted AI/compute, and other killer use cases just got a lot closer to reality. As a holder, this Recrypt milestone gives me even more conviction. Looking forward to the upcoming paper on bootstrapping cost & speed while continuing to hold long-term 💎 $OCT

this might be the most important thing octra shipped and nobody outside the nerds caught it. Breaking it down for the noobs mfers FHE lets you compute on encrypted data. Sounds like magic but theres a catch. Every operation adds noise. Do too many and the noise eats the data, turns it to garbage. So most "FHE" only does a few steps before it dies. Thats not real fhe thats fhe with an expiry date the fix is bootstrapping. Resets the noise so you can keep computing forever. This is the exact thing craig gentry cracked back in 2009 and thats when fhe went from theory to real. The actual holy grail part lambda just shipped it. Recrypt. Turns HFHE into a circuit with unlimited computation depth. And they didnt just say it. Public test ran 63 resets in a row all pass. Its open source you run the benchmark yourself. No trust needed heres why noobs should care. A privacy chain that only does a few encrypted steps is a toy. One that computes on encrypted data forever is real infrastructure. Multiplication dropped end of may unlimited depth now. Thats the spine of a real fhe chain not half of one honest bit. This is proven in their open test harness. What it still has to show is cost and speed at scale in production. Bootstrapping has always been expensive. The paper coming next should put numbers on it but the hard part everyone called impossible. Octra just put it on the table. Yall sleeping MFERS it is time to bid $oct
