INOUE vs NAKATANI: The Ultimate Chess Match Two pound-for-pound monsters, but this won't be an early shootout. Here's why: Inoue: Unmatched explosive power, elite timing, exceptional ring IQ and ability to find the smallest openings. Nakatani: Tall, long reach, awkward southpaw angles, and exceptional distance management. Nakatani’s jab and reach will make it incredibly hard for "The Monster" to close the gap early without taking heavy risks. Meanwhile, Inoue’s defense and ring IQ is too sharp, however, he needs to be cautious of getting caught clean by Nakatani's straight left/hook/ uppercut. They’ll be forced to respect each other's lethal power, expect a highly technical, 12-round war. I'm edging towards this going the DISTANCE. #Boxing #InoueNakatani #NaoyaInoue #JuntoNakatani #boxinganalysis

@TheBoxingQuant Yes, but as you could see they were still trying to fuck him up with those MDs ..and most likely won’t stop trying

I’m honestly more excited to see Bilal back in the ring than Benavidez vs Zurdo… can’t even bet on him now because the price is way too short

@justadamnboxer I agree on this one too it goes the distance. Both are familiar with each other from previous spars etc Mexicans tend to give eachother significant respect at this level too. Stoppage is unlikely.

A lot of people will be surprised by Zurdo. I see him winning multiple rounds behind the jab and using his size to his advantage. Do I think he wins? No. It’ll definitely be competitive, and the fight should go the distance. If Benavidez stops him, I believe he deserves a spot on the P4P list. If you’re looking for a pre-fight lean: Benavidez by decision (-150). Not the best value but pretty fucking likely.

Inoue v Nakatani Control the distance and win the fight. I think we will see Inoue on the backfoot counter punching, making Nakatani overreach and punishing him for it. Nakatani's best chance comes if he can drag Inoue into long exchanges. Inoue win and over 10.5 rounds

We knew Miller’s size, experience and relentless pressure was going to play a big part in this fight. Pero had moments , but he was not conditioned enough or had the gas tank to throw enough to win the rounds. After round 2 , it was the Big Baby Miller show, relentless forward pressure. Old school heavyweight slug fest right there. #MillerPero

@TheBoxingQuant Does the 305 include the wig (and glue)? He's in shape. If that shape is a dropped lasagne. Can't believe this is a WBA title eliminator fight. What a time to be alive. 😁🥊👍

@vic_eubank It’s going to be a tough fight , it can go either way, it’s who sticks to their game plan and who is better conditioned

Jarrell Miller is looking lean (305 lbs) and locked in for this WBA eliminator tonight. He hasn’t been this "in shape" since the Ruiz fight , and we know that pressure is a nightmare for anyone. HOWEVER... I’m still siding with Lenier Pero via Decision 🇨🇺 Miller’s engine is problematic at heavyweight but, Pero’s Olympic pedigree and southpaw movement are the perfect "matador” tools. Expect Miller to push the pace, but Pero to snatch the rounds with cleaner, sharper counters as long as he stays disciplined and is conditioned for 12 rounds. Prediction: Pero by close decision win in a heavyweight classic #MillerPero #Boxing #Heavyweight

@TanBoxing He needs to box smart, I don’t think he has the “KO shot “ to stop Miller

@TheBoxingQuant While pero has good, sharp punching technique, he seems to lack proper power to deter miller from coming in. Havent seen him focused on lateral movement either since he is too preoccupied with walking opponents into counters which limit his mobility.

Weigh in results: Miller :305lbs Pero : 251.4lbs While Miller is the favorite and edges in experience there are signs that the "Big Baby" engine might be slowing down. In his recent fights against Ruiz Jr. and Ibeh, he showed he can be outboxed by movers. Pero’s Path to Victory: 1.The Southpaw Jab: Keeping the orthodox Miller turning into the lead hook and away from the power hand. 2.Conditioning: Pero must stay mobile for all 12 rounds. If he gets pinned against the ropes, Miller’s weight and volume will take over. 3.Snatching Rounds: Miller often gives away early rounds while he "downloads" data. Pero needs to bank the first half of the fight and survive the late-round surge. #MillerPero #fightanalysis #fightbreakdown
