Israel and the Jewish people are one and the same. If you are against the Jewish state of Israel you are against the Jewish people. That "foreign Government" you refer to is Israel is our greatest friend and Ally.

Abdul El-Sayed: “AIPAC and Israel are not the same as Judaism and the Jewish people. I love Judaism and I love the Jewish people. The single most dangerous thing they’ve tried to tell us is somehow they can extend the definition of antisemitism to include a foreign government and its leaders. I call bullshit”

@laurentsab Doesn’t matter. If Israel wants to keep the zone depopulated to bar Hezbollah from using empty houses as hideouts, then it doesn’t matter who owns which house. The solution is for Hezbollah to surrender its arms, and that ends the war and the destruction.

10/10: Within the European Union, the term “feta” can only be used for cheese produced in Greece, since the EU claims that certain cheese terms are connected to specific places in Europe. However, there is no specific place named “Feta” in Europe! And the EU forces other countries to follow this same nonsensical rule. This locks American producers out of key markets merely for using certain cheese terms.

🚨🤯 Craziest Foreign Trade Barriers Facing American Exporters 1/10: You wouldn’t believe the lengths some countries go to stop American exports! In Costa Rica, customs inspectors manually squish black and red beans between their fingers to test how fast they cook and block sales of U.S. dry beans if they don’t pass this ludicrous test. You can’t even make this stuff up! Read the below thread for more off-the-wall examples.

This triggered some Irish people because they refuse to accept that their government did in fact send the Nazis condolences after Hitler offed himself. The mental gymnastics they engage in to justify this and talk about the "broader context" is expected from people defending the fact that their government sent the Nazis condolences after Hitler offed himself.

@ThePowerAudit If Iran sent military vessels off the coast of New York and America attacked them who would the aggressor be? Also hilarious that the US has said nothing against an actual humanitarian mission being subjected to piracy and kidnapping in international waters by Israel.

This is a savvy legal move by Trump. May 1: War Powers letter formally ends hostilities, preserves force posture, asserts Article II constitutional authority. May 3: "Project Freedom" announced as a humanitarian operation, not military. Monday: US Navy escorts neutral commercial ships through Hormuz under freedom of navigation rights. If Iran fires on it: that is Iran starting a new conflict. Trump is responding defensively, not attacking. No new War Powers clock starts because the US did not initiate hostilities. Iran did.
Chris Rollins@ThePowerAudit

Trump just announced "Project Freedom" beginning Monday morning, Middle East time. We are nearing the climax. "If, in any way, this Humanitarian process is interfered with, that interference will, unfortunately, have to be dealt with forcefully." Parse this carefully. He is sending US warships to escort neutral commercial vessels out of the Strait of Hormuz. If Iran challenges the escort, he has his trigger. If Iran lets them pass, the blockade is broken and Iran is humiliated. 35 Tankers have taken off from Tel Aviv today. Saturdays total was 14. The evidence package for this move was built today by Iranian moves. UKMTO WARNING 050-26 (1130 UTC): IRGCN small craft attacked a northbound bulk carrier 11NM west of Sirik, Iran. Crew safe. UKMTO ADVISORY 051-26 (0900 UTC): Vessels at Ras Al Khaimah directed via VHF broadcast to vacate anchorage. Confirmed by multiple ship masters.

A simple message to the silly socialists. You’re upset by businesses telling you that they will fail with the minimum wage increase. You’re telling business owners silly things like if you can’t pay the minimum wage then you don’t have a viable business. I want to make this easier to understand, because if you mean what you say, you want people to have jobs and earn a liveable wage. So listen, businesses fail for all kinds of reasons, mainly because they are unprofitable. We are seeing a wave of business closures at the moment because of the compounding costs from the state against a cost of living crisis. To make a cup of coffee profitable it has to eat a lot costs: - 20% VAT (the inputs can’t be claimed back) - Business rates (a tax before you earn) - Rising NI costs - Employment rights load - Rising energy costs - Inflation All these are imposed by the state. There is also a time tax with all the accounting, HR and regularity requirements which impose cost of consultants and time costs to ensure compliance, distracting owners from operating their businesses. Then there are the other normal costs. A business owner needs to make a profit else the business fails. If the business fails there are less jobs and lower tax receipts. If there are less jobs then public services crumble and welfare requirements increase. This is a compounding problem and what leads to the downward spiral of a country. So… where does the money come from if there are less jobs. The government borrows it, that increase in the money supply drives more inflation, making life more expensive for the people you want to help. Some who now don’t have the job they once had. So what now? What is your plan? I get it, you don’t really have one, this is what has happened to every socialist state, this is how a country goes from rich to poor. We have no divine right to be a wealthy nation and can certainly lose that status. So this is your challenge, can you accept society has a distribution of wealth which means there are rich and poor or would you rather everyone was poorer as long as there are no rich. That’s what socialists tend to want, though I have a secret for you, you can’t get rid of people being rich. I know you think profit is ugly, but the profit motive is what creates business and jobs. So anyway. I’m going to keep promoting proper economics because that’s how a nation becomes prosperous and prosperity leads to a net better outcome for all. This does mean I am going to have to make fun of your stupid socialist ideas. Good luck, read a book and stop being a dumb dumb.

1. Of course leveling homes is justified when we keep finding hostages and military commanders and weapons caches in those homes. You want me to post dozens of videos as proof and Hamas and Hezbollah and Doctors Without Borders all admitting the same? Blame the Islamists for torturing people in hospitals and having “jorunalists” hold kidnapped children in their homes. 2. Aren’t we thrilled Gaza was leveled instead of genocided? Gaza/hamas/iran invaded, declared war on, and attempted to genocide Israel. Instead of retaliating in kind, Israel mostly demolished infrastructure. Again…infrastructure that keeps proven to be used for torture and rape and murder. Gazans are suffering horribly, unfairly. I oppose that. That’s why I’ve supported Palestinian statehood and opposed Islamist jihad my whole life. Israel has may times pushed for Palestinian statehood…all this suffering is because as the Islamists say openly - there will never be peace or a Palestinian state allowed by them until Israel is annihilated. Consider that Israel happily made peace with every state willing to, even those like Egypt that recently tried to genocide then. If Lebanon just stops trying to annihilate Israel, they wouldn’t face retaliation. Israelis and Jews aren’t even asking for the stolen land back, reparations for ethnic cleansing and massacres…just stop trying to colonize the last silver of non-islamofascist Middle East and stop trying to violently impose sharia on the world.

Elon Musk earns $54,080 per year. Unchanged since 2019. That is the annual salary of the richest person on Earth from the company targeting the largest IPO in history. SpaceX’s board approved a new compensation package in January. It was disclosed this week in confidential SEC registration excerpts ahead of the IPO. The terms are not financial. They are physical. Two hundred million super-voting Class B restricted shares vest if and only if SpaceX reaches a $7.5 trillion market valuation and establishes a permanent human colony on Mars with at least one million people. A separate tranche of 60.4 million restricted shares, awarded March 23, vests on valuation milestones plus the operation of orbital data centers delivering at least 100 terawatts of compute capacity. If any target is missed, Musk receives zero shares. Not reduced shares. Zero. Read the milestones again. They are not revenue targets. They are not EBITDA gates. They are physics problems. One million people on Mars means solving 0.38g gravitational physiology, 233 millisieverts per year of unshielded radiation, closed-loop life support across 26-month windows, and in-situ propellant production at industrial scale. Nature published a 2024 analysis showing Starship exceeds its published dry mass by roughly 110 tonnes and lacks return delta-v. MOXIE produced 122 grams of oxygen over two years. A colony needs tonnes per day. One hundred terawatts of orbital compute means space-based data centers where heat rejection scales with the fourth power of temperature. Global electricity generation averages 3.3 terawatts. This milestone requires 30 times the planet’s entire power output routed to AI chips in vacuum. Musk posted on April 22 that this scale “would be 200 times the US economy every year.” This is not compensation. This is a civilization specification sheet priced in equity. The lunar pivot makes the sequence visible. Moon first because windows open every 10 days instead of 26 months. Lunar factories manufacture orbital data centers. Mass drivers catapult them into orbit. Revenue from orbital compute funds the self-growing city. The city stages Mars. Mars becomes the backup. Each step requires a different branch of physics. Orbital mechanics for windows. Electromagnetism for mass drivers. Stefan-Boltzmann for cooling. Radiation biology for survival. ISRU chemistry for fuel. And at the base: a $54,080 salary ensuring the builder receives nothing unless the physics works. SpaceX filed its S-1 with an explicit warning: “Our initiatives to develop orbital AI compute and in-orbit, lunar, and interplanetary industrialization are in early stages, involve significant technical complexity and unproven technologies, and may not achieve commercial viability.” The company told you the milestones might be impossible. Then tied 260 million new shares to achieving them anyway. The IPO targets June 28 at a valuation between $1.75 and $2 trillion. The compensation package requires $7.5 trillion. The gap between where the company starts trading and where Musk gets paid is a 4x return that depends on physics no human has ever demonstrated. $54,080. Two hundred million shares. Seven and a half trillion dollars. One million humans on another planet. One hundred terawatts in orbit. Zero shares if any of it fails. That is not a compensation package. That is a wager against the laws of physics with the stakes denominated in civilization. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

🚨 NEW: Green Party leader Zack Polanski unveils sweeping plans to tackle Britain’s “affordability crisis” today. His proposals include: - A 10:1 pay cap, limiting how much top earners can make compared to the lowest-paid workers - Free school meals for all pupils - Universal energy bill support - Stronger rent controls - A customs union with the EU to cut business costs Zack Polanski says: “The affordability crisis is something affecting nearly everyone… any change in circumstance can push people over the edge into requiring a foodbank.” “This crisis is totally avoidable and down to choices made by this Labour Government and previous Tory Governments.” “The Greens have a plan… taking on corporate power and vested interests to give ordinary people a way out of this crisis.”

Maybe not a popular take but I am calling for this guy to be pardoned. Unless the DOJ plans on going after all the crooks in congress currently insider trading, this is simply skewed justice. There is no “justice” when guys like this get the book thrown at him yet members are illegally profiting every day. I don’t agree with what he did and he should be required to disgorge all the profits however, unless the DOJ plans on doing Congress next, this is not justice.
