I'm very pleased that my new co-authored article is our today! It explores the use of oral history in doctoral research, the under-investigated emotional labour involved in doing oral history, and the lack of support for dealing with it in HE. @oralhistreview

A really important, evidence-based, critique of some long-standing fashions in discussing health practitioner/patient relationships.

As part of the work we do for survivors of #MotherandBabyHomes, we’re working in partnership with Professor Geraldine Brady & Associate Professor Verusca Calabria, on a research project which includes collecting #oralhistory.

On day 2 of 4 Slow Memory core group meeting we heard from local education and funding stakeholders @UlsterMuseum. We were then joined by Bill Rolston to discuss his murals exhibition before hitting Belfast’s streets for a fascinating tour.
