Over generations, religion became more odd & prayer became uncomfortable. Today, religious people are no longer the norm & God's word is intolerant "hate speech". 🥺

My husband and I were just speaking about this. Older black Americans used to be some of the most religious respectful people we knew. It seems like morales and God has been taken from all our children creating the chaos they thrive in. All our children are struggling and we can’t continue to let society teach our kids that there are not consequences for these actions.

What have we become as a culture and race of people? While The Black Collective is buzzing and defending the horrific and murderous actions of Justin Fairfax, they are silent about the death of Jaden Pierre. A 15-year-old kid, with his entire life ahead of him. He was savagely beaten and shot in a space where he should have been safe and protected; among other Black youth. The look of terror and fear on his face as he attempted to defend his small body from the brutal attack is something I will never forget. After beating him they shot him, as other Black Youth recorded and no one did anything to help him. As a race of people, we are in a horrific space. All the sacrifices of our ancestors and pioneers for the Black race to become the most horrific and barbaric culture today. It's absolutely shameful. Sweet Jaden, I am so sorry we failed you and I wish your father would have heeded my warning: BLACK CHILDREN ARE NOT SAFE IN BLACK COMMUNITIES.

@Ravious101 $2,000 for rent in Indiana? On $3,200 take-home pay? Most landlords wouldn't even rent to you. The typical rule is no more than 1/3 of your take-home for rent. You shouldn't be paying more than $1,100 rent. Is the 1/3 rule still a thing?

Sarah Buck If you make $25 an hour (Mind you, most of us don’t make anywhere near that. Average pay is $12-17 an hour) you’re bringing home around $3,200 a month after taxes. Sounds decent… NOT! Because rent is $2,000 off top…you’ve got $1,200 left. USDA’s own numbers put a low cost grocery budget for one mom and two girls at about $800 a month. Average gas in Indiana right now?? Basically $4 a gallon annnnd Midwest households average about $216 a month just in gas. Utilities average another $371 a month. And that’s a VERY low estimate. Most gas bills alone are over $300 currently) Great!… you’re already about $188 in the negative. Add a phone and internet and now you’re about $401 short. Add a basic used car payment and minimum insurance, well my friend… now you’re nearly $1,000 in the hole. Every. Single. Month. But somehow that same person makes too much to qualify for assistance… Make it make sense.

@tallblondetexan I wonder if "no criminal record" only includes a criminal record in the US. Some have records in other countries that would have made them inadmissible, if properly vetted during entry, or deportable after the fact.

For example, our landscaper was here this weekend, and he stopped me on my way to grab our mail. He wanted me to look at some dead grass (yay), and while he's not 100% sure about what I do for a living, he has some idea. And that's why he asked me about the redistricting here in Virginia ... LC: You cover this stuff, right? Me: Yeah, sorta. LC: Can you tell me what Spanberger is doing with our districts? Me: You mean the redistricting? LC: Yes. Me: Basically, Democrats want to take our state, which is currently represented by 6 Democrats and 5 Republicans, and make it 10 Democrats and 1 Republican. He looked at me as if I were lying. He even did the 'pfft' thing. I just smiled. LC: Why would they do that? I don't believe you. Me: Because they want more control in DC. He stopped again. He shifted from foot to foot, took his sunglasses off, and looked me in the eye. LC: Seriously. Me: Yes, seriously. LC: But that doesn't make any sense. Me: No shit. He laughed. I did not. I shrugged. He stood there a moment longer and then put on his sunglasses and walked away. As he left, I said, 'You should vote no, whether you believe me or not. I have nothing to gain by telling you the truth here. Do your research... the vote is April 21. I don't know if I actually convinced him, but the fact that he asked me... Virginians aren't as dumb as Democrats hoped they would be. VOTE NO, VIRGINIA.
