This means Lima can now only play for Wolves or Porto this season. There were plans to send him on loan elsewhere, but now can't happen. Rob Edwards did say he was impressed by Lima in training this week. #wwfc

@NathanJudah Agree. I want to like Jackson, but he is so frustrating. He is the fastest guy out there but he refuses to take a man on and as soon as he has the ball he stops moving. Offers nothing at the PL level

Soooooo what does Rob Edwards need to do to keep us up? Looking at the 18th place team over each of the last four seasons, this is the points total they went down on which has steadily decreased since the gap has widened…. 2021/22 - 35 points 2022/23 - 34 points 2023/24 - 26 points 2024/25 - 25 points 2025/26 - ?? So let’s say - to be safe we need as an average over the last 4 seasons 30 points +1 to keep us safe = 31 With 27 games to go - currently on 2 points - to reach 31 we would need to gain an extra 29 - meaning 1.07 points per game. Genuine question - Do we think this is realistically do-able with the squad we have? Because looking at it this way with the points level decreasing as it is - it may not be entirely impossible after all despite what the pundits are saying…. Thoughts?

@molineuxmusings I think that’s ok…we don’t need a first XI CM. We need professional quality depth. We need someone who can step in for a stretch and go a solid job if Andre or Joao gets hurt.

Josh Brownhill is a smart move on a number of fronts. Goals, experience, functional and underrated technically. What he isn’t, is a needle-mover. There isn’t even a case particularly where you can say he walks in to the first team, especially in the system we play.

@NathanJudah That’s at our @CharlotteFC matches I should note. While it doesn’t have the history or all the quality, MLS is really good matchday experience and bringing the fun (helps our team is really good at home every year)

@NathanJudah I’d have to agree. American POV- but here in Charlotte we do the poznan before kick off and the energy at kickoff for the whole stadium is electric. I love the idea in honoring Diogo and having something unique but too much of a downer for every match

Unpopular opinion: Fields of Gold obviously carries a lot of emotion & meaning - it was right to play it vs Man City for the Jota tribute But I’m not sure it should be the last song before kick-off Molineux should be bouncing & it was silent #wwfc
