@Liathetrader No one believes those numbers. Thankfully, we have competent people in the fed who can corroborate the data. I'm hopeful.

As I said yesterday, if NFP comes too hot, which did with +178.00K instead of forecasted 65.00K, this can be counter productive for the market. It signals to the Fed that the economy can "take" more rate hikes to combat the oil-driven inflation. It's a "hawkish fuel" for the FED imo. Usually, this amount of new jobs would be a sign of health but not in this kind of inflationary/ war environment.

These were some crazy swings this week! Oil up, market up, peace deal, escalation, 🙄 But watch out for NFP tomorrow. Too good of numbers can act counter productively for the market. 📉 Why? I’m explaining it below + how low liquidity affects market moves.

@kakashiii111 Current internal share price is $526 at 1.25T valuation after xAI nonsense. If it scales linearly, that could be $841. That's not acounting for dilution. They split 10:1 last time around $500. I suspect they split again and go out at $70something per share.

@ThiccTeddy Making home made pizza tonight. I cook up a big batch of marinara each month or so and get two spaghetti nights and two pizza nights out of it. A good stone is key. Vons has decent premade dough. I want to learn to make that myself as well.

I've recently gotten really into making pizza & it's radicalized me against big pizza Making decent pizza isn't hard & isn't expensive. The big chains just choose to make terrible pizza

@DOJRR47 those are not the same photo frames. the left is black; the right is brown. this is easier to judge when black and brown don't all look the same to you.

@grac3nTruth Just posted the same thought today. I also think you should only be able to hire a small fraction of H1Bs based on the amount of citizens you've hired in the last 12-24 months.

Jason Everman. Guitarist in Nirvana, bassist in Soundgarden. Kicked out of both. Most people would have called that rock bottom. Jason called it a starting point. In 1994 he put down the guitar and enlisted in the Army, eventually serving with the 2nd Ranger Battalion and then completing the Special Forces Qualification Course, deploying to both Afghanistan and Iraq as a Green Beret with 3rd Special Forces Group. After leaving the service he went to Tibet, studied in a Buddhist monastery, came back, and then earned a philosophy degree from Columbia University with a letter of recommendation from General Stanley McChrystal. Nirvana. Soundgarden. Army Rangers. Green Berets. Columbia University. There is no template for a life like that. Jason Everman just lived it.

it’s crazy that 95% of people just want a nice normal life on our beautiful, already abundant planet where they can have their basic needs met and cute experiences with their loved ones and then we have these 5% of evil, narcissistic goons at the top fucking it up for all of us

17-year-old math prodigy gave his entire prize to Ukraine — an incredible act of generosity. Skomantas Urbonas won Norway’s national math olympiad and donated the entire award to support Ukraine’s army and healthcare. 15,000 kroner. He simply took it and gave it away. “I’ve always believed that evil wins when good people do nothing. That’s why I chose to act,” he said. He’s from Lithuania. His courage speaks louder than words. A huge thank you to him—and to his parents—for raising such a remarkable human being.
