It’s not a forced transition, but why waste a crisis?
If people can now see that the fuel supply is volatile and subject to the whims of foreign countries, compared to reliable Aussie generated electricity…why stand in the way of that realisation and that opportunity?

Nuclear power never was and never will be an option for Australia. In the past it was too expensive compared to coal power and now it’s too expensive compared to solar and wind with pumped hydro and battery storage.
