As expected this list is dominated by Tesla and the Chinese marques, but the biggest surprise for me was seeing the Toyota Bz4xyz on this list. Where are they selling well?

@solo_dio_ In 2-3 years time it’ll be more difficult to sell a second hand ICE car than an EV. In fact I suspect that’s already the case.

The city at night graphic on the dashboard and front door trims of the Geely EX2 change colour with the ambient lighting (but not the rear doors). I wonder if this is an actual city?

Oh dear. Another disaster coming from Citroën, the company that once innovated but now does DeLiBeRaTeLy QuIrKy as a poor substitute.

It will do well if it’s reasonably priced and good to drive, because it does offer quite a bit. I’ve heard $30k being spoken about, which feels about right. Overall I liked it.

What is China’s best selling car like up close? Today I took a static look at the Geely EX2 - and the answer is, not bad. 1/x

Inside? Heaps of space. I’m pretty tall and I was comfortable, which I can’t say about the GWM Ora and to a lesser extent the GAC Aion UT. I liked the city skyline graphics. Downsides? Many of the plastics feel cheap, probably the cheapest among its competitors.

It looks better in the metal than in photos. It’s a decent size, good proportions, and neat little design touches abound like the C-pillar graphics. Good boot space, good size frunk (because it’s RWD!)

Only downside. Tyres need much more frequent changing. Few abrasions on paint-work, but my fault not the car's!

@taipan168 It worked until customer preferences changed, but yeah, it got to a point of being unsustainable. However, I do wonder what would have happened if someone pivoted to building a dual cab ute locally.

@EVCircles I wasn't, because the Button car plan was supposed to make them self-sufficient, and when that didn't work, it was time for them to be put down.

No. Just no, unless we want to provide massive subsidies like we did to the car manufacturers before they were put out of their misery last decade.
