"Can you please make it SPICY?" - Something I say almost always, when I eat out. If you relate, I've got two things for you, and they're incredibly dear to me. First up - the Molaga Podi, just how it should be - SPICY! Have it with your Idli/Dosa/Bread, for that instant hit of spice. Up next - the Sambar Powder (which most of my Delhi-ites & Mumbai-kars always seem to want!) - to make your Sambar flavorful and authentic, to the point where your guests will DEMAND the recipe! Place your orders now - wa.me/c/919342880138 (P.S. For those of you with an anonymous account, the link above ensures your anonymity is maintained 😁) #projectred

Bought a ticket since I have work tomorrow and NonRev was looking sketchy. First time flying PR, MEL-MNL-NRT. Intl xfer at MNL was a 5min affair! Usual A380s undergoing maintenance PR's recently inducted A350-1000 in the last image

@zaxon744 We were told to wait until the fuel was confirmed, and then they could calculate available payload. 10+ seats were available

Mum's turn now to pray to the NonRev Gods. She's listed for the Air India B788 Melbourne-Delhi, which is payload restricted as well despite seat availability. Luckily I have a backup Revenue option lined up for her on the same flight thanks to points 😁

@a_flyguy Having flown Mel/syd-del multiple times don’t remember payload restrictions on the 788s. What’s the reason for it ?

Thought the Non-Rev gods loved me when I saw the seat availability on a Qantas A333 NRT-MEL. Buttt...the aircraft is heavily payload restricted (not a 330 driver, but puzzling for me given the 10hr20min flight time though cargo is quite full too), so last avail seat as usual!

Pretty easy to get a close-up of Mt. Fuji when you are flying an underpowered jet 😂

Ho Chi Minh is used almost exclusively for training flights, so when scheduling asked me to be a safety pilot (for a new co-pilot's training), I had to protect this layover! Sitting in the 787's observer seat (which is almost as comfy as the operating seat) very worth it!

@PointsPro From a longer term perspective - I use Pasmo, with cash to recharge it (no expiry, and upto 50k yen balance). I use 711 ATMs, with HDFC Regalia USD (110yen+4$ fee per withdrawal) for cash. My DCB tops up the Regalia USD.

🚨 Load Japanese IC card with credit cards IC cards like SUICA, ICOCA, etc are like the UPIs of Japan. They are accepted almost everywhere and convenient. A must have. The only way to load physical IC cards with credit cards are the Welcome SUICA. Welcome SUICA is available in Tokyo only. At Narita, Haneda, and certain mega railway station like Tokyo Station, Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc. Tip: Get SUICA for kids (below 12 years) as we get half fares and for this don’t bother with welcome SUICA. ⚠️ Note that the balance, if any, is forfeited and validity is only 30 days. Another way is through Apple wallet but this isn’t available for Indians. So buy loads of welcome SUICA cards at Tokyo 😀

Save this tweet if you are flying to Japan more so to Tokyo Haneda. Unlike the usual situation where ATMS and forex at Airports are very expensive, I was only able to get an ATM with free cash withdrawal in Haneda Airport, right next to the area where you can get IC card. Another point, this was the only place where I was able to get IC card with credit card and no security fee but the max allowed amount was 10k yen, however you can buy mutliple IC cards. Make sure to buy multiple here as places like Kyoto have poor card acceptability but IC cards are accepted everywhere. The merchant isn't quasi cash so you get all the credit card points, I had used Olympus and this Japan trip earned me the next one way economy redemption to Europe 🇪🇺

Fact that Gone Baby Gone and American Psycho, both, have a 7.6 IMDb rating, is the reason I have trust issues. GBG is a 6 at best, whereas 'Mr. Patrick Bateman without his embossed business card' should be a 9+ in my opinion

Consistent snowfall overnight and it's forecast to snow well into the afternoon today. Definitely going to be delayed getting out of Narita as Cold Weather ops kick in with slush/icy taxiways. RWYCC is not reported 😂 (it's a weird system only followed in Japan)

Japan celebrated Setsubun (start of Spring season) on Feb 3. Four days into Spring, and it starts snowing!! We're 0°C, 0700m in SHSN, BKN005, RWYCC 5/5/5. Gotta go read up on De-icing the aircraft

@LoveleenArun I did see some posts on Reditt where the average time was 33 days since the Bondi attack. I'll follow your Aussie trip on Insta! :)

@a_flyguy That’s an anomaly! Normally Aussie visas come within 3-7 working days. Sometimes 10-14. Got mine last week in 5 working days

Applied for a Tourist Australia visa on Dec 30. Issued today. The longest a visa has taken for me, but changes in the socio-politics (is that even a word?) scene b/w AUS-IND in this time. The bright side: it's a 3 year multi entry visa. Definitely factor a 2mo wait

Here's a fun (not fun) fact - Prices for your EU-branded luxury cars will not decrease due to the FTA. They may, however, increase potentially with further weakening of the INR. The FTA could see niche models being launched, and prices remaining stable to what they are today.

Having a sizeable fleet of a type, is a nice asset in the airline world. In my previous airline, you could be rest assured there was a 'spare' Airbus A320 to cover tech issues. No different in the new airline - OCC pulled out an idling B787 within 90 mins to cover a grounding
