@Luas If there are operational restrictions, say this instead please. The protest is most definitely causing chaos but the Luas is not being blocked by the protests, their vehicles or protestors themselves.
@Luas Going to have to put this on all these updates. The only blockage in the Green Line today and yesterday is the Gardai at the bottom of O'Connell street. Why aren't the Gardai and Transdev working to open/close the junction to allow passage of the Luas?
Green Line passengers please be advised services currently not operating between St. Stephen's Green and Dominick. Services are operating between Broombridge and Dominick and between St. Stephen's Green and Brides Glen only. This is due to a protest at O'Connell Bridge. We apologise for any inconvenience caused
@TFIupdates
@Luas Both yesterday and today I found the only blockage to the line was the Gardai at the bottom of O'Connell street. If Gardai are posted tbere, they should be able to move when required for a Luas. Closing the line between this points is excessive.
@Luas It seems the only blockages on the green line are the Gardai at the bottom of O'Connell St. This ran on day 1 until the evening crowds. Why is it not the same now?
Green Line passengers, please be advised Green Line services are currently not operating between St. Stephen's Green and Dominick. Services are operating between Broombridge and Dominick and between St. Stephen's Green and Brides Glen only. This is due to a protest at O'Connell Bridge. @VirginMediaIE Illegible text due to SD quality which is horrifically low quality due to bad downscaling by @VirginMediaIE Would be nice to see the VM Flagship channel broadcast in full HD on the home network @SAORVIEW . Thank feck for @BBCOne and @ITV and @freesat_tv
@VMSportIE Decided to check the picture quality of VM1 on Saorview, it's 576p - Standard Definition, 15 years after introduction of High Definition TV in Ireland. This is the main reason I would never consider any paid service from Virgin, their commitment to quality is below zero.
@VMSportIE Ready to switch to ITV1 as soon as the match starts. Its 2026 and you are broadcasting a disgraceful picture via Saorview. It's worse than 720p as the bitrate of the downscaled 1080p image is pitiful.
@IrishRail it's the basics that you get wrong. Portlaoise to Heuston train delayed by 9 mins at hazelhatch with those passengers needing to swap at Hazelhatch. No notifications or update to say the Hazelhatch to Grand Canal dock train would be delayed. Please do better.
@IrishRail left Hazelhatch at this time (6.51) no updates on app line timings not showing that train is delayed. Obvious delay as train did not arrive to Hazelhatch until 6.49 normally is on platform from 6.40. Any way to make comms better?
@VirginMediaIE@VirginMediaIEPR@virginmedia I still can't understand the downscaling and transmission of SD quality channels on Saorview. I'll watch ITV instead via FreeSat. Who is making these decisions. It's 2025. HD is standard, all major broadcasters in UK have turned of SD.
@GlenveaghHomes this is abysmal, atrocious & shoddy work in Hereford Park! It's quite obvious your profit before tax increase of 106% is not due to quality, it's due to ripping people off. Its shocking. @KildareCoCo These homes need inspection.
@ArnottsDublin@brownthomas How about instead of ineffective promises about sustainability, you give customers a choice between a free sustainable, plain brown paper bag for free OR an elaborate, unsustainable "branded" bag for 60c. Both stores going downhill fast.
@IrishRail We need better services on commuter lines and much better communication. Basically every line you operate to Dublin is delayed or altered due to poor management this morning. This is not a one off either, it's almost daily.
@ElectricIreland@ElectricIreland I have confirmed that it is required to hand over your EU IBAN details for electric Ireland to set up a direct debit mandate without any contract being signed to avail of the offers on your website. The other route is pay a €300 deposit. Why the IE/EU difference
1 agent says I have to pay a €300 deposit, the next agent says I don't.
1 says I will have the discount provided to Irish IBANs holders backdated to the start of the contract, the next one says maybe it will happen. @ElectricIreland this is diabolical.
@CCPCIreland@ElectricIreland
How is IBAN discrimination still a thing over 10 years since the SEPA regulations went into force? This largest Electricity and Gas Utilities supplier in Ireland. 3Hrs of phone calls with your teams and no closer to a resolution.
@BordGaisEnergy Was going to switch to an EV plan and then saw the standard Standing Charge is €218.54 on all plans EXCEPT EV plans where you charge €325.52. That's a 49.63% hike for only you EV plans. Care to explain your thinking? @SEAI_ie@Dept_ECC
