Instead of ignoring Scotland's historical links with slavery & colonialism, we should utilise plaques to expose this history & allow the public to educate themselves.

Proud of my father-in-law for speaking out against UK Aid cuts on Good Morning Scotland today. Tune in at 1hr 13m to listen. It’s important to remember the human consequences - countless people who will not now be able to access life-saving help. So sad.

@theweeflea David, your tweet comes across as petty too. Lots of churches are trying their best to ensure that people can meet in person to worship together in the midst of a global pandemic. I think it’s more about loving your neighbour than churches falling over themselves.

I accept that there have to be general rules to deal with Covid 19 but the pettiness and irrationality of some of them is stunning! I don't know what upsets me more - the government's petty rules or the churches falling over themselves to see who can impose them more strictly!

Biden's miracle working powers are already working. Pfizer have announced today that their Covid vaccine is 90% effective. These trials were due to be announced in October - the fact that the announcement was after the election is of course entirely co-incidental!

Good that International Justice Mission @ijmuk and others are marking today as #AntiSlaveryDay. IJM reckon 40 million people are still in slavery today. They seek to protect people in poverty from slavery and violence; restoring survivors to safety; bringing criminals to justice
