@andyfaceo7 @CDawgVA It's a game in early access, the purpose of the feedback function is to give feedback about changes. Review bombing is not useful. LEARN TO USE THE FEEDBACK FUNCTION.
English

Vocalising dissatisfaction with tangible metrics is important. Reviews can be changed later once issues are addressed.
And idk where you are in ascensions but the general complaint is that there’s no middle difficulty where a variety of builds are viable, it’s either too easy with infinites or ramming your head against a wall with everything else at higher ascensions.
English

@andyfaceo7 @CDawgVA they already listen to feedback bombing this game is pointless. people have no clue about the intricacies of balancing a game like this they're just mad their favorite free win cards are getting gutted. prep was mediocre in STS1 and now its like the best card in the game
English

Do you have an illiteracy issue? I’m saying they threw away all the experience and tuning from STS1 and made non-infinite builds less viable. Balance is out of whack with the inclusion of multiplayer; Singleplayer is more about how you can break the system more than organic deckbuilding, where co-op is a braindead no-difficulty environment even at the highest ascensions.
Idk where you get off assuming others don’t also have experience with the game since STS1 EA.
English

@andyfaceo7 @CDawgVA You are the retard here.
I am talking from a perspective having played STS 1 from early access. I know how Megacrit operate.
STS 1 was worse than STS 2 during its early access. It took them years and multiple iterations to get it right.
These changes are just the process.

@andyfaceo7 @nuhre_ Posting publicly about something means that folks can comment on it. If you don't like that people do that, then maybe social media isn't for you. 😔

The jury is out on Crimson Desert.
Turns out I was right. I know, I know... you guys hate when that happens.
The consensus so far:
• Exploration is the main draw
• The game tries to do way too much
• Feels like a single-player MMO
• Story is trash
• Mechanics are convoluted
• Takes 8+ hours to even hook you
So yeah, this is a very specific niche game.
The kind some people will absolutely love… and most will play, think “yeah, that was alright,” and never touch again.
And that’s fine.
Not every game needs to be perfect to be enjoyable.
And not everyone has to like the same things you do.

@MadamSavvy @HARRItheAI Where Aether is pretty in a hella gay pegged-without-lube way and Caelus is pretty in a wears-lipgloss way, Endmin is straight-pretty like a genetically-blessed office colleague/manager 😂
English

@HARRItheAI him and the female are so pretty. i love their eyes so much. not Aether level of pretty, but pretty in his own soft way that somehow inspires calm.
English

@SanagiYuzu Thank you for the opportunity and your patience 🙏 Very fun design to work with!
English

@andyfaceo7 OMG ITS FREAKING GORGEOUS THANK YOU FOR WORKING WITH ME ONE OF MY FAVE PIECES EVER!!!!
English

@jadel4w @makro_art It’s not the be all and end all, there are obviously other metrics like virality, stigma, and public opinion that can affect playercount to a greater degree, but to say quality has no bearing at all is as intellectually dishonest as your average westerner political argument.
English

@makro_art I would argue player count has nothing to do with quality
English

Steam player count being visible is doing irreparable and unessesary damage to a lot of games.

What gaming opinion will you defend like this?🚀
English

@MaplePrism Game is not hard, guides are not necessary. Explore mechanics together, community develops reading comprehension. No gear RNG, limited farm required, thus prefarming irrelevant.
I see literally zero downsides.
English

Saw this on the Endfield sub, would love the communities thoughts on it.
I personally prefer things this way, I think a cc early access server creates a walled garden esque effect where the cc's that are in will always have an artificial advantage over anyone else wanting to make content for the game.
I also think it is a driving force behind misinfo in many games, where cc's will direct the playerbase on a build or on a units strength and it isnt until after release someone find out something about that character that ruins them or something that makes them broken anyway so the early access gave no benefit.

@Safhier @Marcodmeatball Now that i’ll call bullshit on. Adam Gubman, DJ Okawari, STARSET have all been repeatedly engaged. While some regions haven’t yet been revisited ingame, when there’s a genre and theme match the same vocalists/composers make comebacks.
English

@andyfaceo7 @Marcodmeatball a tad bit different when HOYO-MIX artist more often than not making a comeback so often compared to Monster Siren's that usually around for like 1 event or story chapter, then never appeared again
English

Genshin is definitely up there in the lexicon of fantastic video game music. I definitely has competition for what would be "greatest" but it's definitely in a top 100 list of best video game music ever written for sure.
Definitely think people will refuse to put it there due to it being a gacha game but I think that's silly.
Thejonathon@thejonathontv
Genshin might just have on of the greatest gaming soundtrack's of all time. When you really consider the quantity of amazing, diverse, high quality, songs they produce it is genuinely insane. LIKE JUST LISTEN TO THESE
English

This is where the distinction is. In classical music the composer is credited first, where in modern tracks the performer is given the limelight over the composer and lyricist. The argument i’m making is that neither alone determine whether something is “outsourced” or not, but the whole. By extension if AK’s tracks are “outsourced”, so are Genshin’s, since HOYO-MiX is more of a collaboration of non-exclusive artists than an inhouse exclusive studio.
English

@andyfaceo7 @Marcodmeatball "compossed" and "performed" is 2 different thing
compossing is an act of creation
performing is... well, performing
you dont give cover artist credit for the song they performed right?
you can credit their voice, but not the song or lyrics
English

If the musicians aren’t active employees is that “outsourced” even if the track is produced internally? Doesn’t that make orchestral tracks performed by Shanghai Symphonic and London Philharmonic “outsourced”? What about individual artists like Frank Klepacki or Mick Gordon? By this definition almost all music is outsourced.
Or are you arguing that only the composer defines what is internal vs external?
English

@andyfaceo7 @Marcodmeatball thats their music label, but in reality they hire outsourced artist and release the OST under Monster Siren label
even this highly popular one is outsourced

Genshin is the one with a handful of soaring orchestral pieces and a large majority of unremarkable ambient music in their albums. AKE does the same and there’s nothing wrong with that, but AKOG puts out a thematic banger every single character PV and event.
Would prefer if you engaged objectively -after- actually exposing yourself to more than one game.
English

@andyfaceo7 @Marcodmeatball Arknights has a handfull of amazing tracks but a what is a handfull against entire albums lol
English

@andyfaceo7 @Marcodmeatball arknights aka the game that mainly outsources their soundtrack lol
theyre good ost ofc but yeah, wont call it product of hg
English

@THEEDITOR_GUY_ The only valid reason to complain about AKE’s localization is that they force shitty American accents on some of their non-American VAs resulting in stilted performances. Everything else is exemplary.
