I want to be abundantly clear and forthcoming, and you may quote and scrutinize freely: I pursue inconsistencies for the sake of clarity, emotion is never a part of my questions. I want the truth, to dispel all doubt and make a coherent story of your life. Any assumption in contradiction in regards to my nature within the above is bias which is the number one corroborator in spreading distortions.

I may never be able to tell you this, though I have given it in fragments. When you were born, something changed in me when you were passed into my arms. You were so tiny to me, solid yet delicate. Seeing the gentle peace expressed on your face, I felt a responsibility like no other—to look out for you no matter what. I thought to spare you from what I was raised in, but the most I can do is support your will—prevent it from being overwhelmed by another. Much of our folk are mired in the old world, so steeped in vanity and pride they are blind to the modern world, but not you. I couldn't be more proud of the potential I see in you. I won't be around forever, even shadows fade into the deep dark. It is why I advocate for you, to teach you the little things they can't be bothered to. One day you'll depart from me on your own adventure, I would never chain you down as they do, I want you to soar, to be better than I by not repeating my mistakes, happy above all else. One of the most disappointing things I've had to witness was the fall-off of Vtubers. It genuinely had so much potential, but EN Vtubers decided it needed to be a platform to gain control of, and kick out/alienate anyone who disagrees with their politics. And that's not even getting into the sexualization, how THE FUCK did having orgy parties, fansly's and OF's become so normalized in what is supposed to be streaming for people who wanted to stay anonymous??? Vtubing genuinely lost what it used to be. A cool way for people to stay anonymous while streaming. Now it's just goonslop and politicalslop.

@penumbrapremier @hyraldia I can appreciate some of what you said, about Women’s struggles in the scene. But part of the reason why SW get mistreated as much as we do is because people just assume we don’t work hard.

It´s crazy to see how many people dehuminaze Lewdtubers. The most hard working Vtubers i met were Lewdtubers and it hurts me to see that people in the comments still treat us like we are the worst people on the planet. I can understand the concern that Fansly is going to have a booth in the normal exhibition hall but this is probably for sfw M&G´s so i don´t really see an issue there. Lewdtubers are normal Vtubers as well. We work hard like everyone else.

I’m sorry but you lack a fundamental understanding on the subject. Saying, “NSFW work is easy”, shows that you don’t really understand what you are talking about. Similar to writing, just because most people can write doesn’t mean they are good at it. Just because someone is sexy, doesn’t mean they can do NSFW work. It’s a hyper competitive market, where if you don’t make good quality content consistently people leave. Every job has its difficulties, I’ve worked as a Waitress, Assistant Chef, Phone Rep, Team Lead, Manager, Magazine Publisher, Mechanic. Every job had its hardships. Fansly has somewhere between 2-3 Million creators, only about 100,000 make a good amount of money that’s about 5%, everyone else earns less than $1,000. Sex sells, but so does food, people aren’t going to pay for porn unless they have a reason to, similar to how people aren’t going to be paying Popeyes for food unless they have a reason to.

I think the issue is that most if not all are not articulating it well enough. Its like being on Twitch as a woman in general regardless of your content: On the outside, you show up and speak and people flock to you, its just an advantage inherent there that the other side does not have, BUT, its balanced back to normal levels because of the unique difficulties (creeps, boundaries, etc.) that ladies have to deal with in exchange for having such an advantage. Its the same with NSFW and SFW, sure it can't be denied NSFW is easy, sex has always sold its a constant, but there again, its balanced back down because of the now unique difficulties and obstacles that NSFW creators are forced to navigate that SFW creators seldom have if ever. In the end, its all balanced, but there is still an advantage inherent to taking that position or doing that kind of work.

@hyraldia It is really funny, because the same people that judge us or shame us for it just have this idea in their heads that it’s easy. When in reality there are so many people that do lewd content that similar to YouTube only those that work their ass off can make a living off it.

I've spent most of my teenage and adult life being used by people for one thing, fansly gave me the ability to use that one thing to pull myself up If you're mad about this, you're performative. You'll demonize and shame SWers but not the clergy, celebrities, adults, who actually harm people It's a fucking stand at a convention for *mostly* adults, it's the damn same as seeing a half nude cosplayer at comiccon, a skimpy outfit in a TV show or movie, a joke for the adults watching a children's movie Either yall wouldn't have survived seeing an episode of Ren & Stimpy in the 90's or you're on your little soap box because you desperately need to have the "moral high ground" to pretend you're a good person

The funny thing is that what NSFW creators don't realize is that sexual things being secretive and on the down low was what gave them the most bang or enticed people. Now they're putting it out in the open and its becoming boring. They're slowly murdering their own medium

As a creator that wouldn't label herself as Seiso and child friendly, this is wrong. My biggest concern with this is that fact that it is being held in the exhibitor hall. This is not being safe guarded behind an +18 only area that most conventions have where you have to check ID. So I think its very weird that many creators are comparing this to those situations in conventions. This is being broadcasted and marketed right in the center of the convention. Whether they are showing explicit images or not this is a CORN SITE trying to get a new audience while marketing freely where Children will be in attendance. This is NOT an attack towards NSFW creators but its time to genuinely ask yourself are you okay marketing yourself to children? Is it okay to say yeah well im not their parent so its not my issue? No that is wrong. That is a disgusting outlook. I cuss a lot in my streams, I make a lewd joke here and there im not a NSFW creator at all but for just being more explicit I make my streams and community +18. We have adult conversations and there is no reason I should have kids interact with my community if it puts them in a place where they learn about explicit topics. Mind you im not a lewd tuber!!! This is just me understanding im not necessarily PG 13. So how can Lewdtubers be okay with this? We cant monitor everyone, but we can have some decorum and decency to understand kids should be protected. So if you can protect them by safe guarding events like this that is the best outcome. There are so many +18 conventions you could have attended instead and no one would be mad. But you intentionally are trying to market yourselves to children by marketing a corn website in the center of the venue. Do profits mean more to you than Child Safety? When I went to a convention for all ages I made sure I kept my cussing to a minimum and made sure not to make any sus jokes. So when a Child approached me and called me a fairy I immediately changed to make sure I was Child appropriate and made it a safe environment for her. Kids are curious when they see pretty anime characters they aren't thinking of anything other than wow thats cool. Stop trying to make kids think corn addiction is cool and normal. Its not. If your defense is "I'm more than just my body. Im a creator." Then prove it. Stop marketing your body at conventions and show your talent and skill as a creator. If you really had more to offer you wouldn't rely solely on this being the only way to market yourself at conventions.

I don't usually talk like this but I have to be direct: The ecchi was nice but its funny that he locks in so hard trying to be a chad only to pus out when anyone except the wind elf gets intimate with him. Its incredibly annoying that he flips from this to "um.. gee... well... I dunno... I can't..." later on in lewd moments. No payoff, no fade to black to imply, he just never follows through.

There will be many points for discourse but I do think that we can all easily agree that NSFW content creators do have at least one core responsibility: Minding that their content is not seen by the underage populace (to the best of their ability) Doing it on Twitch however is a violation of this since there is no real protection. Additionally its very odd that they're mostly (as far as I have seen) the biggest opponents toward ID verification. Which is crazy because... they do realize that that would help to shield them from backlash of a minor seeing their content or engaging in their community. Being opposed to that while doing NSFW is not a good look.

Seeing so much NSFW vs SFW vtuber discourse has been kinda crazy. I'll at least offer my perspective as a SFW creator. My choice isn't really about moral superiority or anything like that— I just personally think intimate stuff should be private and tied to love. It's deeply ingrained in my brain and there's not really any changing that without making myself super uncomfortable. That being said, I don't really care if people sexualize me so long as they're respectful. I think it's one of those "It is what it is" things. It's gonna happen regardless as a VTuber so it's important not to be judgemental about it. That being said, I don't think NSFW creators are inherently evil or anything like that. Everyone has different beliefs and ways of expressing themselves, and that goes for the fans too. I might not understand that side of the coin fully, but I think so long as nobody is getting hurt it's okay. These creators have been quite kind to me and I'd never wish any ill upon them. I know there's more to this discourse since it's fairly nuanced but ultimately I think people should just stick to the sort of VTubers they enjoy. There's a creator out there for everyone and telling people that their way of doing things is wrong ultimately won't change anything. We're all adults here (I hope) so let's stick to content that makes us happy and high spirited!! 🫡

You should be posting to show what you like because you like it Others will come and go, much like birds that migrate in the changing seasons, there's always a chance for them to return. When they leave, keep the fire warm for your enjoyment, and when they grow weary and seek familiar comforts They will see your door open, know your face, and come to smile on you once again.

I was remembering some dialogue I had with someone a few weeks, maybe a month ago, not sure but the premise was that they were trying to assert in a short that one should be doing something or always be on the move, and grinding in life. I commented that I was doing nothing in that moment and it was liberating. I added that your best self is fluid and honestly, unreachable. The reality is that being the best "you" is already done every day that you live, because you are the only "you" that exists and will ever exists. Their response was that it was an "average joe" type of comment People, having a grind "mindset" is not inherently bad, you have to do what makes you happy, but you shouldn't just be active or building aimlessly. You need to have goals—an end that you choose, or else life will set one for you at your expense. I pray that at some point that wild energy subsides enough for clarity's sake, else you'll find yourself breaking under the stress of your own endeavor.
