why do we have to promise all this utility and why can’t we just create art and post it and if people want to collect it they buy it. why do I have to promise to dedicate the rest of my life to folks just because they collect my work? I do t want to own nobody. I’m just a person. I don’t go to the furniture store to buy a table and expect the table maker to get a royalty fee every time I sit at the table. I paid for the table when I bought the table and then I left with my table that I bought.
I’ve built tables, my favorite was to build custom benches, so I can speak on it and I’m telling you an Artisan is a craftsman that knows the quality of their work. And even we know how ridiculous this sounds. Royalties sounds nice I mean who wouldnt want to get paid for the rest of their lives for doing something ONCE. But it’s ridiculous and greedy and kills creativity and productivity. People do less if they ain’t hungry. How do I know? Because I am people.
I’m so over the greed of this space it’s mental. I am an artist and I create when I feel inspired to create. That’s it. Anything else I feel like providing extra is my choice and I don’t have to do shit, and you shouldnt feel pressured to do shit either!

i write my music on my own, and share it because it makes me feel good to share it and I’m told by others that it makes them feel good to hear it and honestly that’s good enough for me.
I want the fun to return to the space again. this shit needs to end or I’m leaving and going to learn how to be a dev full time. they way more fun to chill with anyway. Don’t act all entitled and shit. You know who you are and i love ya. End rant.
