The interior of a Dovecot in Avebury.
These round houses were made compulsory in the past if you had land over a certain acreage.
The pigeons were food, their scat helped make gunpowder and was excellent crop fertiliser.
@Metascan3D app with LiDAR.
I just did this last Summer for the renovation/planning of our vacation rental abroad. Maybe a bit overkill for your purpose, but I used @Metascan3D. Multiple scans combined in blender (all with the free version). Worked great in combination with Ikea kitchen designer, especially because the walls are not square. Coming from photogrammetry, the progressive mesh scanner was magic.
#Photogrammetry is nearly always right answer for most #3dscanning needs. iPhone14 can capture this #quest3 front surface, but it's a lot of #macrophotography to do right; Tape speeds up the capture and scan quality at the scale of topology I'm looking for. Made with @Metascan3D
Next is a Lidar capture and video export using the free version of @Metascan3D . This is the grave Henry Merrihew, and Olive Bridge farmer and blacksmith. Note that my shadow shows up in various places on the stone.
