Crawling isn't innate (unlike walking). Every baby must *invent* crawling, from scratch, using extremely little data, and no reference to imitate. Which is why different babies end up with different ways of crawling.
Sometimes people tell me, "you say AI isn't intelligent until it can invent, but most humans can't invent anything either!" -- in reality, we are all constantly inventing. Even babies are inventors. You couldn't navigate a single day in your life if you weren't capable of invention.

Researchers have mathematically proven that the universe cannot be a computer simulation.
Their paper in the Journal of Holography Applications in Physics shows that reality operates on principles beyond computation.
Using Gödel’s incompleteness theorem, they argue that no algorithmic or computational system can fully describe the universe, because some truths, so called "Gödelian truths" require non algorithmic understanding, a form of reasoning that no computer or simulation can reproduce.
Since all simulations are inherently algorithmic, and the fundamental nature of reality is non algorithmic, the researchers conclude that the universe cannot be, and could never be a simulation.

What's very interesting is that Zelensky can "end this war any moment" by surrendering his country and betraying his people and his heroically fighting military, but Putin at the same time absolutely can't -- he is unequivocally forced into slaughtering hundreds of people on battlefields and murdering peaceful Ukrainians in their homes every single day.

I've never seen a railroad crossing arm that completely covers the road. Usually it's just the lanes where traffic is flowing towards the tracks.

NPCs don't just lack their own thoughts and only know how to repeat things they've heard. They also don't know how to react in situations they weren't prepared for. Anything that doesn't follow the "script" makes them glitch out.

In 2003 Sweden voted no to have the Euro as currency, and still doesn't have the Euro. It hasn't been another vote later, this was the only one.

AI pretraining on its own outputs will degrade the results
Easy to just filter out em-dashed data, it’s a symbol that makes grammatical sense but is difficult for humans to naturally type on a standard keyboard without Unicode mapping
