Bitmap and stuff transmitted by relays. Hippie with a drum

I have closed the Ordinals BIP pull request. If you are interested, then you can still read the Ordinals BIP in the Ordinals git repository, I think. Don't worry, this isn't a "delete" action or anything - Ordinals still exists & I'm unable to destroy it even if I wanted to btw.

Let’s hope Bitcoin doubles every halving 🤞 -> just to sustain today’s security budget while the value doubles. If it doesn’t double, we’ll need ~30x growth in transaction fees 🤞 -> just to match today’s security budget. And hope this continues forever 🤞 -> for a “store-of-value” asset. The insane part? Even if that happens, the market cap would need to more than double per halving or fees to 30x+ just to keep security growing in proportion to Bitcoin’s value. Otherwise, we’re securing a growing market cap with a shrinking security budget. or $NAT If you don't believe me or don't get, read the NATpaper @natgmi

So Luke’s server got compromised (twice) and his wallet keys were stolen, leading to him losing 200 BTC. Instead of pulling the drive for forensics, or at the very least doing a reinstall, he “removed known root kits” and kept the server up. Luke is a deeply unserious person when it comes to anything security related.
