Stop burning sats on test inscriptions 🟧
ORD-TESTER. Fork the repo, add your code to /build/ folder, and it auto loads straight into the actual Ordinals receiver. Same iframe sandbox ordinals.com uses.
Test every device. And share with friends before ever spending sats

Todays dev update.
My ord node is close to being ready.
On it I will be building:
- Bitmap Districts Index
- Bitmap Parcels Index
- Toshi Size Index (total sats exchanged)
- Signal Index
The Signal Index will be different from the Termina Module (which will be updated with fixes shortly) in that it will be realtime, and power my Signal platform.
It will be quite difficult to make Signal fun or really useful in any way until we have realtime data, but it was very important I built the Termina Module so that we don't have a centralized point of failure, and data can always be checked.
I'm excited to build this index-based Signal front-end.
Anybody who wants to make use of the opportunity to get ahead whilst visibility is low would go and nominate themselves for as many Hoods as possible.
And for those who "read more" and reached the bottom of this post, here's something extra exclusive... I am working on a video series for YouTube called Bitmap Direct, to provide seasonal updates for the Bitmap ecosystem and community, including exclusive announcements from me and key developers. If you want to be early, go subscribe at @blockamoto" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@blockamoto.

@blockamoto Because there are so many “idiots” don’t agree with me!
English

@blockamoto @mboilyETH @ChainRacingClub Subsidising miners through DMT feels like a welfare model — it interferes with natural market correction rather than letting the system rebalance itself.
English

Security budget is a made up problem.
Large miners reducing their hash power makes it easier for other miners to increase theirs. Natural correction.
Subsidising large miners even further just helps them hang onto their hash power for longer (although not by much).
Bitcoin is beautifully designed, and this is a good example why.

@blockamoto Epic moment. Signal yourself 0.bitmap You have my vote from 21.bitmap

And... let the Signal commence!
signal.bitmap.land
From this day forth, you may cast your Signal to vote for a District to become the Seat of your Hood.
A Hood is 2016 Districts. There can only be one Seat.
Hood Seats are recounted at the end of every.
A Period is 2016 Blocks.
If a Seat has the majority, they gain points for each District in the Hood minus any Veto's.
If a Seat has a plurality, they gain points equal to the amount of Signals they received.
Your Signal votes remain valid until the Halving.
At the Halving are the Elections.
Here, we determine an Elect (address) and a Capital (District) for each Sector.
A Sector is 210,000 Districts.
The Elect is determined by checking which address has the most points from Seat wins within the Sector.
The Capital is determined by checking which of the Elects Seats has the highest Signal.
The Elect and Capital remain until the next Election.
These are the basic rules of the game.
You cast your signal with:
{"signal": {"hood": "[signal]"}}
Replace [signal] with the Bitmap District inside the Hood you'd like to signal for. You nominate yourself by Signalling for the same District as the District that is Signalling. Signals are only counted for nominated Districts.
You can also replace [signal] with veto or defer. A veto is a vote against all options. Defer allows the Parcels of your District to vote for what the District Signal is.

The signal module for termina.land has been inscribed! You may cast your signals from 945,000 onwards. The first Hood Seat counting happens at the end of Period 498, which is at Block 945,503, likely on Friday. Keep up with the countdown at signal.bitmap.land.

At approximately 5:58 AM ET today someone sold a very large amount of $DOG causing the price to drop from $0.00068 → $0.00054 on Gate
Within seconds arbitrage bots began buying $DOG on Gate to sell on other exchanges (where the price was still higher) which caused $DOG's price on other exchanges to quickly drop to ~$0.0006
Throughout the course of the day many $DOG soldiers took advantage of this new ATL to "buy the dip" and I am very excited to share that $DOG has now not only fully recovered from this event but has actually added several million dollars in value
Given the opaque nature of trading activity and account ownership on CEXs it is unclear if this was simply a $DOG whale exiting their position or a more sophisticated price manipulation attack by market makers to hunt liquidations
What is very clear though is that in the face of adversity the $DOG Army rallied together and fought back to turn this into a victory
Other memecoin communities would have panicked on the timeline exacerbating the selloff but the $DOG Army exhibited extreme conviction and fortitude
Days like today make me proud to be part of this movement
$DOG go to the moon 🫡

@blockamoto @AdamSimecka that’s why I am holding 21 and 32. Mathematics.
English

@AdamSimecka I forgot to mention, you need to multiply each having result by 210000.
Also interesting is
7x3=21
2016÷21=96
96÷3=32
The core of bitcoin maths is the primes 7 & 3, and powers of 2.

The Signal Module for Termina is coming tomorrow, ready for the count to begin at block 945,000.
signal.bitmap.land
Then you can nominate yourself, or vote for others with:
{
"signal": {
"hood": "[number].bitmap"
}
}
At block 945,000 onwards, you may inscribe this in the Metadata as part of a reinscription of a District. Make sure you are voting for a District within your Hood. You can check with the Hood module in Termina, or simply divide District number by 2016 (truncating decimals).
You can also use "veto" to vote for nobody (a vote against anybody who is standing), and you can "defer" to hand your vote over for your Districts parcels to vote on. Defer will be added to the standard docs tomorrow.
Please wait until the starting block 945,000 to begin making signals, as anything before 945,000 will be filtered out of the count.
Your signals will be valid up until the halving, when they are rolled up to the Sector Elections, where an Elect address, and a Capital will be selected based upon the points gathered from Hood Seat wins.
The elections are in two years time, so from block 945,000 onwards, we have a lot of time to build up Seats for Hoods, and to figure out the landscape.
What does it mean to hold Seats?
What does it mean to win a Sector Election?
This is intentionally ambiguous, as there is no way I can possibly fathom what this system may become, as it's not about my ideas. It's about you, and how you play.
And play, we shall!
