Started sculpting in ZBrush about 2 weeks ago. Just messing around for now. I've always been interested in character creation but the one thing that scared me for a long time was anatomy. I've learned a lot over the past 2 weeks and I'll share my progress occasionally here

@ArtOfPilgrim Always funny when people point out things people "will never notice". Often times it's the kind of thing people would notice is missing, but just can't quite identify it. I think once you do 3D for long enough your observation skills for these kinds things develop drastically

@ThatNgonGuy That's insane! Good luck 😁 Also, now that I see the full model I can tell I missed some crucial details. Might give it a go and work towards building out more parts. We'll see if I end up with something I can share or just delete and forget it ever happened

Was looking at an older model and thought I could do it better.
You often hear "When in doubt use more geo"...
But sometimes you need to use less 😁
Too much geo can be harder to control if you're not careful.
PS. Poor vert placement is the source of the lumpiness, not ngons 😉

I do still have more work to do to finish remodeling this part, so you might want to wait until I show that 😁

@ThatNgonGuy Well, I'm happy with my result as well of course. Shading wise it looks quite good. But I enjoy looking at your solutions as they're always optimised

@ThatNgonGuy Really liked this shape when I first saw it so I wanted to give it a go for practice. Avoided looking at your wireframes, but now that I see your new one.... I got some work to do lol

Some stills from this, actually my first time subdiv modelling. Funnily enough I really don't need to model often for the projects I'm usually on.
Thought it'd be good to get a bit better at it regardless :)

@ArtByKaneS Identify which light is contributing to this noise and increase the sampling rate for that light. Hope it helps in your case! Difficult to say for sure without more context of the scene
