Thanks to the leadership of @AldermanHarris, our city is moving forward with a fair and equitable map and avoiding a costly referendum for Chicago’s taxpayers.

Aldermen led by @AldermanHarris are holding a news conference now on the passage of the new ward map. Harris assures people that the aldermen that will represent Englewood will work together.

Zooming in on the 11th Ward, which is set to be the city's first majority-Asian American Ward. @chicagosmayor earlier this year appointed @ald_nicolelee as alder of the 11th Ward. She is the first Chinese American member of the City Council
