LA PRIMERA VUELTA FUE AFECTADA Y ALTERADA 💥 EXPLOSIVO: Contraloría imputa responsabilidad penal a Piero Corvetto y 9 funcionarios de ONPE por fallas que dejaron sin votar a más de 55 mil peruanos en las elecciones 2026. La Contraloría General de la República determinó presuntas responsabilidades penales y administrativas contra el exjefe de la ONPE, Piero Alessandro Corvetto Salinas, y otros nueve funcionarios y servidores de la entidad por graves irregularidades cometidas durante la primera vuelta de las Elecciones Generales del 12 de abril. Según el Informe de Control Específico N.° 8536-2026-CG/JUSPE-SCE, un documento de más de 5.500 páginas entregado a la ONPE el 25 de mayo, las fallas logísticas en la distribución del material electoral afectaron directamente el derecho al sufragio de 55.261 ciudadanos, principalmente en Lima Metropolitana, donde 187 mesas de sufragio no llegaron a instalarse. Entre las irregularidades más graves figuran la manipulación de los términos de referencia y la evaluación técnica para favorecer a un proveedor de transporte electoral, lo que generó un sobrecosto estimado en S/ 469.404 respecto a la oferta que debió ganar; la aprobación de adicionales por S/ 650.205,94 sin sustento técnico ni legal entre el 7 y el 9 de abril; y la reprogramación de última hora de 43 rutas de distribución el 11 de abril, que dejó sin material a miles de electores. La Contraloría ya remitió los actuados a la Procuraduría Especializada en Delitos de Corrupción y a la Junta Nacional de Justicia para que se inicien las acciones penales y administrativas correspondientes, mientras la ONPE anunció que derivó el caso a su Secretaría Técnica de Procedimientos Administrativos Disciplinarios.
