Fuentes is very lucky he did not get hit with harsher charges. He didn't just pepper spray that poor woman, he shoved her down a set of stairs and could have seriously injured her. She was clearly not a threat to him and he chose to open the door instead of ignoring her.

It’s a matter of good document design and enhances readability. It’s a practice that should be adopted in general legal writing (like briefing and pleadings) over 1" with double spaced lines because the latter is just not as readable, and you can make much more useful handwritten notes by writing in the margins.

Bar discipline definitely needs to start happening in these more egregious cases.

@ElectionCenter_ This isn’t how the Court’s jurisdiction works. If they purported to rule on a matter not properly before them, it would be dicta (though as a practical matter, highly persuasive inasmuch as one would expect the Court to rule that way in a future case).
