This is stunning, it's a perfect summary of centrism. Keir Starmer does not actually oppose Trumps plan to wipe out 90 million people on a whim - he just thinks Trump should avoid using vulgar rhetoric as he slaughters them. As always, liberals only care about tone, not content

Being a musician in 2026 is basically just busking online. We're all spending our days posting content on insta and tiktok hoping to god it generates a sale or two of our music, or a booking. I'm literally sat here right now producing a content roll out instead of making music.

@creativegeek the actual timeline is much longer, 2 or 3 days in hospital, recovery with drugs and perhaps up to a month...

@szfkight Blimey! You’re going through the wringer at the moment! Is there a long recovery period? The r is it back on your feet a couple of days later and get going again?

@joseph_brakken can do things like switch on when you arrive/leave, set timers to turn off lights plus set a slow dim so for example to go to off over 30 mins and you got millions of colours to choose from, you can do scenes etc and also lights will come on at sunset and fade up as it gets dark

Some time ago, the files on my hard drive were suddenly moved to iCloud. I didn't do it myself. It happened in an update. Recently, I noticed some of my files being duplicated with "2" added to the end of each folder name. Some of the folders are now missing the files they once contained. It's clear I'm not the only person privy to my iCloud account. Suggestions welcome.

@beatboyjw The dynamics between a group of sounds, the dynamics (simply loudness) on one sound, the transients (simply attack/release/sustain), the glue (a much talk about motion where some compressors make the sound more cohesive than others! 😉) for SSL G Bus etc etc

Question for the engineers: When y’all say you can hear compression, what exactly are you referring to ?

@susanabulhawa You are. It’s Apple iCloud software these days. It’s utterly terrible. Twice it deleted huge chucks of files, they even escalated to an engineering team but they never wanted to admit their software is now broken and yes it does move files in an update. All documents get moved.
