@Blender @wacom With time big companies with big donations will dominate blender more than the community and they will have more saying than anyone else. I hope that you change the patron policy that they don't have priority over the rest.

@JacquesLucke There's an organisation that works in a somewhat similar way to this but for charitable giving called GiveWell. You donate a fixed amount, then they divide it up based on their research into which charities have the highest impact. givewell.org

New wrinkle: @CDBaby won't accept the 13 digit upc codes amuse gave me, despite saying in their documentation that they would.

Spending my Thursday evening hunting down masters and copy + pasting ISRC codes because @amuse_io decided to try to make me pay to reupload my releases with them because of "metadata issues". I will be reuploading them to @CDBaby instead.
