@whereistejas That's ok! Generally the feedback we've received thus far has been very positive, with most folks glad we added this. However, not everyone is going to love every feature, and (as you've noted) we've made it very easy to disable if you don't :)

@ReadwiseReader controversial take: i don't like it when apps hijack the selection event and scroll my screen to open a view (that covers 30% of the screen) without asking me if I need it (yes, I know there is a button which I can use to turn it off and i have turned it off)

New in Reader: Quick Lookup Long-press any word, name, or term and get its meaning instantly. Reader synthesizes the author's own definition of terms, pulled from their usage in the document. One more tap saves the definition, so what you look up actually stays with you.

Anything you look up is also one tap from saving. It'll land in your highlights and resurface in your daily review, so new words actually stick. Available now on iOS and Android. Long-press any word to try it :)

Reading fiction? Long-press a character's name for who they are and why they matter, no spoilers. Great for big-cast novels where you've lost track of who's who.

@ReadwiseReader Did this improve scrolling on large (400+ page) PDFs also? It seemed like the app was much smoother while reading and annotating that PDF today than yesterday.

Don't sleep on @readwise's CLI!! Total game changer for building knowledge bases with your claw. My current flow: Save to Readwise, then skim, read, highlight or just tag something with `wiki`. Agent then uses the Readwise CLI to get and process those articles, highlights and notes and enrich our knowledge base.
