When the mobile app revolution was kicking off with the launch of the iPhone is 2007/8 it was clear to me that this was going to be the “next big thing”. But on AI I agree with @arcbtc - this is a bubble but as builders we need to “make hay while the sun shines” !

So far, Nayib Bukele is on track to be the Lee Kuan Yew of Latin America. The Simon Bolivar of the new century. He focused on building up his own country. He embraced hard money and cut off hard drugs. He did imprison criminals, but did so with the minimum necessary force. He persuaded first, and compelled only when absolutely necessary. Like Lee Kuan Yew, Bukele turned his country into a bonafide showcase for a global audience. Bukele built a domestic coalition in his native Spanish and an international coalition in fluent English. He balanced El Salvadoran nationalism with diplomacy and capitalism, recruiting Tether, xAI, Bitcoin, and tech to the country. Incredibly, he’s made El Salvador into a model not just for Latin Americans, but for North Americans. And he did it in less than ten years, with absolutely no precedent in the region.

One of my absolute favourite presentations from the @CheatCodeCon conference on Gridless and how Bitcoin mining is an incredible force for good - making electricity possible in remote rural African communities. But this will never get any coverage on social or traditional media!

Whatever she posted, this level of force has no place in our society. It really seems that the men with guns will show up at your door if you anger the powers that be.

Once you reach this level of followers like @doctor_rahmeh it seems like it is dangerous to post freely on X in the UK as the police will continually arrest you. Are we already living in Orwell's nightmare? What exactly did she post to get this kind of treatment?
