@SohrabAhmari Which off-ramp exactly? I mean, specifically, what was the convenient stopping point that Israel somehow disrupted?

It's pretty obvious that Israel is setting fire to President Trump's potential off-ramps. Feel free to form your own normative judgments about that, but it's hard to deny it's taking place.

@cenkuygur “These type of attacks” seem to originated from a specific ideology, and are generally directed towards another specific group of people. C’mon Cenk, we know you’re a moron, but even you can figure this one out…

There's an active shooter in a synagogue in Michigan. He has exchanged fire with security. These type of attacks are the worst thing anyone can do. It's deeply immoral, it goes counter to any principles of peace and safety, it's wildly counterproductive and it divides Americans.

Let’s pause and think about what actually happens during a colonoscopy. You’re sedated. A flexible tube with a small camera is inserted into the colon so physicians can examine the lining and remove abnormal growths at the discretion of the doctor. That lesion may become cancerous in 15-20 years or it may never become cancer. In the meantime, poking a little too hard with the instruments can make a hole, leaking fecal matter into your abdominal cavity. So you could end up with emergency surgery for a possible lesion that could possibly become cancerous someday. Now, instead of reacting emotionally or projecting the program you’ve been given, step back and think logically. Does this sound like a good idea? When a procedure can lead to death or permanent damage, don’t you think it’s time to rethink our approach?

@MarcoRizzolo @piersmorgan @PiersUncensored Lol “Jewish supremacy.” 0.02% of the world population, a religion that does NOT actively evangelize, who have carved out a small country in a region with over 200 million Muslims/arabs… and you’re worried about their supremacy? You are such a pussy.

"The temple will never be rebuilt. Julian the Apostate tried to rebuild it and it was destroyed in the process. Christ put an end to the Jewish sacrifice on purpose — he gave them one generation to convert to Christianity, and when they didn't, he put an end to their sacrifice. There hasn't been practicing Jews in 2,000 years because the temple hasn't been around."

For Lebanon we must act. Everything must be done to prevent this country, so close to France, from once again being drawn into war. The Lebanese have a right to peace and security—like everyone in the Middle East. It is to halt the war and prevent the worst that, following my exchanges with President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, I spoke today with Lebanon’s highest authorities in order to establish a plan to bring an end to the military operations currently being carried out by Hezbollah and Israel on either side of the border. Hezbollah must immediately cease its fire toward Israel. Israel must refrain from any ground intervention or large-scale operation on Lebanese territory. The Lebanese authorities have given me their commitment to take control of the positions held by Hezbollah and to fully assume responsibility for security across the entire national territory. I give them my full support. France will strengthen its cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces and will provide them with armored transport vehicles, as well as operational and logistical support. The French detachment within the United Nations Force in Lebanon is also continuing its mission in the south of the country. Concerned about the displacement of tens of thousands of Lebanese civilians currently fleeing the south, I have decided on the immediate dispatch of humanitarian aid for them. Several tons of medicines are being transported, along with shelter solutions and assistance. This is a testament to the friendship the French feel toward the Lebanese. At this moment of great danger, I call on the Israeli Prime Minister not to expand the war to Lebanon. I call on Iranian leaders not to further draw Lebanon into a war that is not its own. Hezbollah must renounce its weapons, respect the national interest, show that it is not a militia taking orders from abroad, and allow the Lebanese to come together to preserve their country.

i’m not going to cheer on bombs like it’s a halftime show people posting “boom” about an airstrike like it’s a video game need to log off for a second if the Israel Defense Forces actually hit a gathering tied to leadership in iran, that’s not meme content — that’s a geopolitical earthquake you don’t weaken extremism by turning war into entertainment you don’t support civilians by celebrating explosions and you definitely don’t make the world safer by thirsting for escalation between Israel and Iran real people bleed when missiles land real families get shattered and the region edges one step closer to something nobody can control if you want to be “strong,” try being serious war isn’t a fireworks show for your timeline it’s consequences, body bags, and decades of fallout maybe act like it

I am an Iranian-American. I am against the brutal regime, but I also don't believe that Israel and USA will bomb us to liberation. 100+ school girls girls murdered and hospitals bombed for what? American backed regime change has never worked out well. Not ONCE.

I criticized Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei a thousand times. He was oppressing his own people and preventing democracy. But there’s one thing you can’t take away from him, he died on his own two feet, instead of kneeling to Israel. That took courage. He didn’t bow.

Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war.  Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace. I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution. Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.

Trump was sold a false narrative by Israel that claimed Iran is so weak that it has no choice but to capitulate. Trump swallowed it and embarked on a coercive strategy, expecting either a quick Iranian surrender or a quick, glorious military victory. But the narrative was false. Now Trump is disappointed at Iran for Israel having sold him a false assessment of where Iran is.

Are we going to have to endure variations of that speech at Munich every year from now on? Look - USA, we get it. You don’t want to be allies any more. That’s fine. Just stop banging on and on about it. It’s like endlessly texting your ex after you’ve broken up. Pathetic.

Britain should repurchase America. After all, it was ours once, and it would enhance our North Atlantic security. If you don’t sell it to us, President Trump, we’re going to impose tariffs on the U.S. and any country who supports you in resisting this very good deal. Fair?

@esaagar This is such a weird take. All countries would gladly possess nukes if they could. Just because we stopped Iran from getting them doesn’t mean it wasn’t in our geopolitical strategic interest to do so. Vindicated? Lol
