@moving_charlie If this was introduced in a market where there wasn't a supply shortage, then this wouldn't be exposed to wider macroeconomic factors. The scheme isn't flawed, it's the existing housing bubble. But then, you could argue the scheme wouldn't exist if not for an increasing bubble

@moving_charlie I don't think the scheme in itself was wrong. It's the market overall. If you insert any scheme good or bad in a bad situation it won't work. When the market is already in a bubble this scheme only works against those whose wages don't rise commensurately with the interest.
