@CorrectBabie Naa..borrow sense also.. U can't do a scan to determine GA for a mother in labour .. like for what? Even if the baby was preterm, the aging can be determined through physical exam. There is a full scoring system for that But it is ok.. I will borrow sense.. what do I know?

Dear Doctors and Midwives in Lagos, Please, kindly stop sending patients in active labour for pregnancy scans 🙏🤲 Except in true emergencies, it is not appropriate. I am a sonographer, not a midwife. I am not trained to conduct deliveries, and the scan room is not a labour ward. So why send a woman in active labour just to determine gestational age? Especially when she already had a scan just during the month ? Recently, a pregnant woman almost delivered right on the scan table. She came in alone, shouting, panting, and in obvious distress. It was a frightening situation that could have gone very wrong 💔 Just yesterday, I attended to two different women in active labour sent for pregnancy scans. This needs to stop. Let’s prioritize patient safety and proper clinical judgment. Women in active labour should be in the labour ward, not moving around for non-essential scans. If you’re a healthcare professional, please take note. And if you know one, kindly share this message 🙏

I want to be clear: I do not hate my university. I do not carry resentment. If anything, I love KIU for the education it gave me. My lecturers were the best, and they truly cared for me. One tthe lecturers that stood out for me was Ms. Irupia Christine. She was a young lecturer who detected that something was wrong with before I even told anyone. She met me in the school compound early in the morning and said: Simon, you don't look fine. Even your grades have declined. What's wrong? I told a lot was not going right, so she offered to meet me in the school canteen in the evening after lectures. At the agreed time, I found her waiting for me. I narrated the whole ordeal and how it was impossible to cover the debt. She listened patiently and when I had relayed everything, she asked me. So have you eaten anything since morning? In all honesty, I had not had a decent meal for close to a week. I replied that I had not. She bought me food and gave me 10K. She said she was going to pray for me. That's the warmest kindness I received from KIU. Then there was the late Madam Nansikombi Esther, a genius in literary aesthetics, May she rest well; the late Dr. Callist, our Psychology giant, RIP; and Dr. Tindi our lecturer for Phonetics and phonology. I believe I could not have received a better education anywhere else. My issue is not with the quality of education. My issue is with the financial policies. It is the clearing system. It is an administration that seems unbothered by the human cost of its errors. My pain was not caused by my teachers; it was caused by a system that bills a student to his soul and then strikes their name off the graduation list in the middle of the night. I pray that something good comes from this. Even if the university never makes a public statement, I hope they quietly enact favorable financial policies for their students. If they fix the system so that no other student has to suffer like I did, then my nine years of pain will not have been in vain.

Happy Easter season our esteemed mother and leader Mama @JanetMuseveni , one of the most hardworking Ministers of Education and Sports in Uganda’s history. Your legacy speaks through action and impact overseeing the construction and upgrading of over 250 seed secondary schools across Uganda, bringing quality education closer to communities that needed it most. In addition, numerous existing schools have been renovated and expanded to improve learning conditions nationwide. You have also overseen the construction of many primary and secondary schools, greatly expanding access to education for thousands of learners. You championed the Early Childhood Development policy, laying a strong foundation for the future of Uganda’s children. Your leadership has also transformed sports infrastructure, with milestones like the development of Hoima City Stadium, the revival of Akibua Stadium, and the renovation of Namboole Stadium. Your commitment to enhancing science education has strengthened innovation and competitiveness among students, while your efforts to improve teachers’ salaries have uplifted the dignity and motivation of educators nationwide. Your dedication, resilience, and vision continue to shape the future of our nation. God bless you, our Mother of the Nation. Long live Mama @JanetMuseveni.

You are going to run yourselves into unnecessary pits; this passed bill doesn’t talk to innovation or technology in medicine, it talks about who supervises production of medicine and that is a world know fact that it’s a Pharmacist! Refer to any other serious country where this is left open to be guided by UNATUs! WHO has set internationally recognized standards which we have benchmarked alongside other international standards to come up with a localized policy!

@Mokiliicepack @AidenKaliisa No one is denying this But what causes trust? It's equality and equity If U ever reach a state where the only people U trust are from your ethnicity, the you have failed on all metrics of leadership Things M7 was blaming Obote and Lutwa of doing.

People put LPG cylinders in water (common in places like Nigeria/Kenya) believing it "saves gas" by cooling the tank. The idea: lower temp slows liquid-to-vapor evaporation, so gas lasts longer. In reality, it reduces vapor pressure and flow to the burner—creating a weaker flame, which just makes cooking take longer with the same gas amount. No savings. It can also risk rust/corrosion. Better to keep it dry and shaded.

@Mokiliicepack @AidenKaliisa So only your tribesmates can be loyal to U? Then why not break up and each tribe be left on its own? Let the Kjongs be their own country, the Itesots, the Baganda, the Basoga etc so that each can be loyal to his own But for as long as we are in a Republic, all tribes are equal
