Labour Party Politicians who won elections under the Obidient wave, later defected to APC, and are now being denied APC tickets are returning to join the NDC in the hope of riding on Peter Obi’s popularity again after betraying the movement. This is an abomination.

I slept with my best friend after a night that honestly felt harmless at first. We had been close for years, the kind of friendship where we told each other everything, laughed at the same stupid jokes, and could sit in silence without it being awkward. That night, we stayed up talking about life, relationships, and how lonely we’d both been lately. One thing led to another, and suddenly we crossed a line we had promised ourselves we never would.

But for real what’s up with Kenneth Okonkwo. It’s ok to have a rush of blood to the head once once but the constant rush of blood can give you intracranial hematoma. That na die o.

Havertz has been injured four times, Saka has been out for a total of four months, Timber is currently sidelined for two months, Merino has been out for over four months, Eze missed two months, White was injured at the start of the season, Madueke was out for two months, and our skipper hasn’t been fully fit for most of the season I don’t even want to talk about Calafiori being made of glass and we didn’t make any signings in January, yet we made it to the UCL final unbeaten and are still top of the Premier League.

@the_Lawrenz Even if there was minimal contact, the striker already miskicked, contact or not, the ball was already out of his reach. That contact happened after he miskicked and the ball was heading out. Not a penalty for me

1. Arteta broke the Arsenal record for the most wins in a single season in two fewer games. He won 40 games in 58 matches. The old record was 39 wins in 60 matches. When Wenger did this he won two trophies. 2. Arteta broke the Arsenal record for the most goals scored in a single season. He did this two years ago. 3. Arteta is the English manager with the most win ratio in the Champions League history. In fact, the only people ahead of him in the list, are Bayern managers. Finish. 4. He has the longest unbeaten streak against the top 6 clubs in England (22 games). 5. Arteta has taken Arsenal to back-to-back UCL semifinals for the first time ever, and now in finals since 2006. For context, Wenger took Arsenal to two semifinals in 24 years. Pep took City to three Semifinals since he joined City. 6. Arteta has never finished a season in a lower position than the previous season. He’s the only manager in history to do this over six years. 7. He’s the fastest manager to reach 8 coach of the month awards in the league’s history. Arteta has broken many Arsenal records, and some other records. And yet, none of this means anything if he doesn’t win a major trophy with the club. This is why, regardless of how I feel about him, I need him to win a major trophy. This is what will cement his name amongst the greats. Arteta, please, drag your tired boys across the finish line. Claim these records with pride. Congratulations in advance to my gaffer.

Arsenal beat the very best teams in Europe to reach the final. From German Champions Bayern, to Italian Champions Inter, then Atletico Madrid. The Gunners have proven themselves at the highest level and deserve all the hype.

Peter Obi is not a leader in my own opinion. He should have stayed to fix the problems of Labour Party. Leaders don’t run away from problems, they fix it.

@Dammi_Esq Honestly, what you did wasn’t right either. Making that kind of change to your body without even informing your husband can cause issues in a marriage.

I got a small tattoo on my breast, which I did myself. My husband only noticed it later that night, around 10:30pm, when we were about to sleep. He became very angry and sent me out of the house over that small tattoo. Even when our neighbours and landlord tried to beg him, he refused to listen. He pushed me out and forced me to leave the house close to 11pm. I had nowhere to go, so I ended up spending the night at a church vigil on our street. I later contacted the tattoo artist about removing it, but he said it’s risky to do so now because it’s still fresh. He advised me to wait for about two months before removal. When I explained this to my husband, he told me to go and stay at my parents’ house for those two months. My parents have tried calling him to settle things, but he has refused to pick their calls. Right now, I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.

Peter Obi
Peter Obi@PeterObi·
Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
