@ElephantofLox @the_dadchef When my JennAir fridge gave up at 23 years the guy at Home Depot said “oh no, you might get 10-12 years out of a new fridge” Built in obsolescence.

@the_dadchef The problem is they all suck. We had a top of the line LG refrigerator that broke every 18 months. I swore I'd never get another LG. When we finally had to replace it, I read endless reviews on every brand, and none of them had good reviews.

@poodlegirl08 @SenMarkKelly @cmclymer Or he’s proud of the astronauts. No main stream media gives any substantial coverage to the Artemis 2 mission. It must be exhausting to try and turn anything the President does into something negative.

Commander Reid Wiseman just named a lunar crater after his late wife. You can hear his voice shaking. I have no words 🥺❤️

The crew dedicating a lunar crater to Reid's late wife during the flyby was moving. What a sweet moment.

Orbán looks bad here, no question. But Serbia’s statement isn’t the final word, they said there was no Ukrainian involvement, not that there was no plot. The explosives were real, the threat was real, and the pipeline is critical infrastructure. The problem is that Orbán jumped to a Kyiv conclusion without evidence, right before an election, and now he’s eating it. That still leaves the bigger question: was this a false flag, a rogue actor, or a test run and does he double down on blaming Ukraine or quietly move on once the polls close?

Serbia’s top military and intelligence leaders have now stated that Ukraine was not behind an incident involving a large amount of explosives found near a gas pipeline on the border with Hungary, officials have told POLITICO. In direct contradiction to claims made yesterday by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who is expected to badly lose his upcoming bid for reelection on April 12 and implied Sunday that Ukraine was responsible for the attempted attack against Hungary.

I am still going through all my photos from the launch. So many to choose from! Really love this angle because you can see how the tower is absolutely engulfed.

@catbonat @astrasdoctor Absolutely not. Fred Astaire was uncommonly thin for that time or current. Gene Kelly or your own Adriano Celentano would be closer to normal build

@deemsunset @astrasdoctor Not particularly fat, but they are over the weight that would have been considered normal half a century ago. It's easy to see by for example watching old movies from the sixties. Fred Astaire is an example of what should be natural

@JustinD6893 @MarkJCarney @Astro_Jeremy Astronauts from different countries often fly together. The US has flown 70+ times on Russian Soyuz vehicles. Today NASA flies with crews from Japan, Europe and Russia You weren’t paying attention

I’m not asking you, I’m telling you. Take a moment and listen to this 81 second response from Victor Glover after being asked if he had any thoughts leading up to Easter. I don’t quite think it can be overstated how perfect this crew is for the job.
