@IndexKarnataka @SmtSudhaMurty AIIMS is not just a hospital, Hubballi has ecosystem to enrich the research, connectivity to cater emergency referrals, commute of expert doctors. Hubballi is center of Karnataka and importantly connected to majority Karnataka. Raichur needs grass root level medical not AIIMS.

It feels like #Hubballi is still not getting the attention it deserves from either the Central Govt. led by @narendramodi or the Karnataka Govt. led by @siddaramaiah
Despite being the commercial hub of North Karnataka, the city's growth potential remains underutilized.

The region is so under developed that even the hubli airport is a small millitary airport where rarely few flights are operated & even fewer direct flights to any cities

Expectations from Dharwad MLAs: To pressurize for international airport, AIIMS. Get land acquisitions from state for central projects, get funds for brts, roads etc.
Reality: Speeches on Madurai airport, Batting of 2nd airport in BLR or Tumkur, forgot brts, forgot infra.

State government of Karnataka doesn’t care about north Karnataka or its ppl.
They want to keep the region and its ppl poor and bereft of any upliftment for a reason.
OMR is a cash cake esp now with mallu real estate money pumping in incessantly. It’s up for grabs like never before.
The good ppl of north Karnataka deserve better.

As a Mysorean, I’m not convinced making Mysuru the second IT corridor solves regional imbalance in Karnataka.

If balanced growth is the goal, shouldn’t we be investing in North Karnataka instead? Industry creates ecosystems, not the other way around.

No global universities.
No major healthcare institutions.
6 dist - Millions of people.
Still waiting for real development.
Karnataka cannot rise if NK is left behind.

Wish the government had planned #Hubballi along with #Mysuru as an IT city to reduce the burden on #Bengaluru. With this, North Karnataka would have benefited the most. But instead of #ITParks, we got a Haj Bhavan.

@Hubballi_Infra @Guru_KAN13 I don’t understand why these people behind our Hindu festivals. There is no “North Indian Holi” or “South Indian/NK Holi.” It’s simply Holi and belongs to every Hindu across the country and the world. Celebrations may differ, and some may celebrate while others may not.
