Some moments become memories. Some become responsibility. Yesterday in Hyderabad, I had the honour of meeting our beloved Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji. He paused, looked at me, and asked my name… and for a moment, I truly froze. Even while writing this now, the feeling hasn’t sunk in completely. Grateful to the state leadership for this opportunity and deeply thankful to Modi ji for his warmth and encouragement. From that very moment, I felt my responsibility doubled. I will continue to work with greater dedication, in every way I can, for the growth of the BJP in Telangana and for the vision of a stronger India. 🇮🇳🧡

The Telangana government is not acting with any vendetta against the son of Bandi Sanjay. As a Union Minister, you should have been the first to seek a fair and transparent inquiry into the allegations made against your son. Instead of claiming there is a conspiracy against you and trying to gain sympathy, you should cooperate with the investigation. The questions are simple: Did the girl meet you or not? Was your son in contact with the girl or not? These are the facts that must be established. Before making political accusations, you must first prove your innocence. As the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, you should set an example by allowing the law to take its own course. The Telangana government has no discrimination against anyone. It is the responsibility of the government to protect the daughters of Telangana. In such matters, the Telangana government stands firmly with the victim and will ensure that the women and girls of Telangana feel protected and reassured. The Hon’ble Chief Minister has spoken to the DGP and ordered a thorough inquiry. The investigation is being conducted by a woman DCP officer. No matter how powerful they may be, those found guilty cannot escape the law. The Chief Minister has personally directed the DGP to ensure that the investigation is impartial and free from any external pressure. There will be no political interference and no deviation in the course of the inquiry. If any wrongdoing has taken place, strict action will be taken against those responsible. Bringing BC politics into this issue is neither appropriate nor necessary. If anyone uses power or influence to obstruct the investigation, democracy will not tolerate it. Whenever such allegations arise and personal credibility comes into question, one should step forward and seek a fair inquiry. As directed by the Chief Minister, the police have been instructed to conduct a complete and impartial investigation so that the guilty are identified and punished strictly in accordance with the law. @RahulGandhi @priyankagandhi @kharge @MNatarajanINC @kcvenugopalmp @INCTelangana @INCIndia @TelanganaCMO @revanth_anumula @Bmaheshgoud6666 @Bhatti_Mallu

Tamilnadu governor's refusal to invite Mr Vijay of TVK to form the government is unconscionable, undemocratic and violative of the letter and spirit of the Constitution. Whether the government enjoys the support of the legislature should be decided on the floor of the Assembly, not in the Raj Bhavan. The Union government should immediately intervene and firmly advise the governor to immediately invite Vijay to form the government. As long as the House does not vote out a government, even a minority government can survive and govern. There are many precedents - Indira Gandhi government after 1969 Congress split, PV government from 1991 to 1996 etc. Governors have no business to put their thumb on the scale and play partisan politics in constitutional office. The people of Tamilnadu gave an unusual verdict rejecting the prevailing political culture. Disrespecting that mandate will further erode public trust in politics and undermine democracy. We have seen in our neighbouring countries how such contempt for democratic norms will lead to street protests and collapse of governments. I appeal to the PM and HM to act with wisdom and foresight and advise the governor to invite the leader of the largest legislative party to form the government. The President should intervene to protect the constitutional values. If the governor is still recalcitrant, he should be dismissed forthwith.

Every day I continue to be astounded by the vast gap between those who are doing amazing things with AI and seeing tremendous benefits, and those who don't know how to use AI and worse than not benefiting from it, indeed can cause harm. It is more than understanding how to use AI. We must also understand its limitations, transcend it in some sense. Closing this gap is a great mission for me. It can be done. It is hard, but it can be done. Every one can ride the AI wave...

@svembu It is private sector that drives growth, there is no reservation in private sector. Just some excuses, that said Reservation has not helped and intact it had separated those communities from the rest of society, say all castes are equal and take out reservation

This topic of reservation comes up often in these threads. People don't seem to realise that American universities have had strong Affirmative Action and Asian American kids (including Indian American kids) need far higher grades and test scores to get into top Universities. This is absolutely true in California even now - even though the law prohibits it and the Universities will deny it! On the other side, Zoho has thrived in Tamil Nadu and both AIADMK (MGR initiated the massive increase in reservation quota in early 1980s in higher education) and DMK have long maintained the same reservation policy here. It is a political non-issue in Tamil Nadu. Zoho has benefited from and has in turn benefited all the communities in Tamil Nadu. When private sector investment is strong (as has been the case in Tamil Nadu) reservation policy in education can help to create a bigger talent pool. When private sector investment is low, society becomes a zero sum game. This is why we must work to boost private sector investment in a big way, rather than fight about reservation. I repeat: Universities in California have very strong Affirmative Action programs too. And California also has had strong private sector investment.

Our @CMofKarnataka should read this and ask a simple question. Has Karnataka become the foremost destination for investment and jobs in India during his rule? We have a great tech industry and legacy but in the last 3 years have we moved ahead? The huge spending on ‘guarantees’ has crippled our finances, reduced infra spending. 60%+ vacancy in govt faculty in the Age of AI, Bengaluru suffering badly from bad infra, a city filled with thrash and garbage in many area. @siddaramaiah please change course and focus on development and jobs not caste and appeasement. We need good jobs for our youth not more corruption. You were a great CM last time please please focus on growth.

I humbly accept the Business Reformer of the Year award presented by The Economic Times. It was an honour and privilege to receive it from Hon’ble Union Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman Ji. Andhra Pradesh is now India’s foremost destination for investment and innovation. This has been possible because the people of my state placed their trust in us, and because of the dedicated efforts of our Cabinet Ministers, officers, and policy experts. I am especially grateful to the industry leaders and investors who recognised Andhra Pradesh’s potential and chose to partner with us. This award belongs to the people of Andhra Pradesh and to everyone who contributed to this success. I thank the jury for this honour and congratulate all the winners this evening. @nsitharaman @EconomicTimes
