@BEAR_Scotland We were driving up from North Wales to Edinburgh last night via Biggar. No signage on the M74 to indicate the road was closed. No signage at the Maidencoates roundabout where the diversion apparently began. It took us 80 minutes extra. This really isn’t acceptable.

A Christmas nightmare for @JohnSwinney. He's repeatedly refused to refer his lying justice secretary to the ministerial code watchdog because he knows she broke it. He should have sacked her weeks ago, but she's still in post because SNP ministers believe they're above the law.

@ZiaYusufUK Quite apart from the fact that this is obvious nonsense (a 100% clear-up rate for petty theft - what planet are you on?) this is how all repressive regimes start. ‘We must protect the good people’. Except the definition of ‘good people’ invariably changes over time.

Reform will ensure the law is universally and unflinchingly enforced. Steal a phone? Instead of a <1% chance of being caught as currently, you will be caught 100% of the time. You will be jailed. Carry a deadly weapon? You will be stopped and searched. You will be jailed. Turn up on our beaches illegally? You will be detained. You will deported. With 100% certainty. We will bring back law and order in this country, and ensure law abiding citizens feel safe.

Yes. Our dash to renewables has been so successful that at 3pm today we were having to import 14% of our electricity needs from four different countries. So much for energy security/self-sufficiency.

Actually shouting at the radio. BBC Scotland has pundit on describing the Welsh as Brits, suggesting migration was a big issue at Caerphilly when all evidence is folk were scunnered with Labour's anti-migrant stance and NO-ONE asks if result suggests Welsh want independence.

@LesleyRiddoch If Plaid start gaining in the polls, there will be plenty more of this. The BBC doesn’t usually bother with a lot of editorial bias in Wales, because it’s always run by a nice safe pro-Union Labour government. If that changes…

@AvantiWestCoast Today, at Crewe, you sent the 13:32 to Euston on its way exactly on time, when about 80 people were visibly coming down the stairs from a delayed connection from Chester, and despite an announcement on that train that you had agreed to wait it. For shame.

@AvantiWestCoast Transport for Wales literally announced on the train that they were trying to contact you, and then that you had agreed. So someone is lying. There was also the small matter of a crowd of people visibly surging down the stairs, and being pointedly ignored by your staff.
