Hello friends! The gradual collapse of this site has now accelerated. I’m not leaving just yet, but I’ve established a presence on the App of Blue Skies, using the same handle as I do here, and I’ll be spending more time over there. Come follow me there if you wish. Love to all.

@msm_monitor Oh, I’ve seen demands. You have to wonder what, after a four year police investigation, this is expected to achieve. Oh no, of course. It allows the BritNats to have another crack at NS, after the police couldn’t find anything to charge her with.

Has any BritNat demanded a pubic inquiry yet? There's *always* a demand for a public inquiry.

@msm_monitor Absolutely correct. It tells you something about how this whole affair has been conducted that they all believe they had a right to a show trial immediately before the election. Because what was all this for, if not to smear the SNP?

BritNats are angry about two things regarding Branchform. 1. They didn't get Sturgeon. 2. Murrell's case was postponed until after the election. That's why they're going over the top with their smears. They're fizzing, and will be for five more years.

@RussellFindlay1 A four year investigation costing £2m. Murder tents on the front lawn. Nicola Sturgeon charged with nothing. If there had been any evidence against her you know fine well it would have been found. There wasn’t any, so you’re resorting to smear tactics. Just like a Tory.

@spfl You have no way to weasel out of this. The full amount of stoppage time wasn’t played due to the pitch invasion (and assault on Hearts players, which you fail to mention or condemn), so either the game was abandoned, or the referee blew the whistle too early. Which will it be?

SPFL Statement "Firstly, we send our congratulations to Celtic on winning the William Hill Premiership in the most exciting of circumstances and send our commiserations to everyone at Heart of Midlothian following an incredible campaign. “We would also like to thank the referee and his excellent team of match officials for their cool heads on such a dramatic day. Given the speculation about the conclusion of the game, we would like to make clear that, prior to awarding the trophy, we were informed by the match referee that the match had ended and had not been abandoned. "Yesterday’s match showed off the very best of the Scottish game and the drama and excitement that it is rightly famed for. The eyes of the world were on Glasgow and the climax of the William Hill Premiership, with millions of viewers watching the match on Sky Sports and across the globe. "However, we utterly condemn the scenes which saw a number of Celtic supporters encroach onto the field of play. We await the report of our match delegate regarding any specific incidents that took place but, regardless, supporters entering the field of play in any circumstances is wholly unacceptable and puts those participating and working at a match at risk. We note that entering the pitch in England and Wales has been a criminal offence since 1991. We urge anyone with information about any alleged criminal activity to contact Police Scotland."

@Malcolm_Offord Well, you’re either pig-ignorant, or you’re a barefaced liar. Or both, of course. The SNP literally cannot run up a deficit, because Holyrood has to operate within a fixed budget. That’s the way devolution is set up. Your imaginary ‘deficit’ is from spending by Westminster.

If the SNP had been serious about an independent Scotland joining the EU, then they'd not have run up a deficit of 12% of GDP when the EU requires it to be under 3%. Realistic nationalists know this. So ENOUGH to the debate. Let’s focus on making Scotland wealthy NOW.

@BEAR_Scotland We were driving up from North Wales to Edinburgh last night via Biggar. No signage on the M74 to indicate the road was closed. No signage at the Maidencoates roundabout where the diversion apparently began. It took us 80 minutes extra. This really isn’t acceptable.

A Christmas nightmare for @JohnSwinney. He's repeatedly refused to refer his lying justice secretary to the ministerial code watchdog because he knows she broke it. He should have sacked her weeks ago, but she's still in post because SNP ministers believe they're above the law.

@ZiaYusufUK Quite apart from the fact that this is obvious nonsense (a 100% clear-up rate for petty theft - what planet are you on?) this is how all repressive regimes start. ‘We must protect the good people’. Except the definition of ‘good people’ invariably changes over time.

Reform will ensure the law is universally and unflinchingly enforced. Steal a phone? Instead of a <1% chance of being caught as currently, you will be caught 100% of the time. You will be jailed. Carry a deadly weapon? You will be stopped and searched. You will be jailed. Turn up on our beaches illegally? You will be detained. You will deported. With 100% certainty. We will bring back law and order in this country, and ensure law abiding citizens feel safe.

Great news for Scotland today. Great British Energy is investing an extra £5.5m in community renewable projects across Scotland. This means cleaner energy, lower bills and investment in our communities. Proud to back community power here in Edinburgh North and Leith.

Repost this till you fingers fall off. What Keir Starmer is saying is he ''will not allow'' Scotland to have an avenue to self determination. Take that in (will not allow) Scotland her democratic & international rights.

@MatildaMinter @StephenFlynnSNP Devolution is like giving your entire salary to your neighbour, getting less than half of it back, and then being told by the neighbour that you’d be able to afford all the extra stuff they’ve bought for themselves if you budgeted better.

@MatildaMinter @StephenFlynnSNP It’s pretty simple. The budget for the government is fixed. The budget for Westminster isn’t. So Westminster don’t have to find the money for an additional project like this from within existing funding streams. They can borrow if they like.

You’d have the highest budget deficit in the western world if you were independent — and no means to fund it. Good luck with that.

@afneil Remember Andrew we are in a union, Scotland is currently not an independent country and doesn't have the fiscal controls to fund itself.

@Cromwellian77 @DCFRowe @LesleyRiddoch One dissenting post. One. That’s how long it took you to resort to personal insults. I wish I were surprised, but the fact is that you don’t have anything else, do you. The UK’s grip on Scotland is failing, and there is literally nothing you can do about it. Do enjoy the show.

@LesleyRiddoch If Plaid start gaining in the polls, there will be plenty more of this. The BBC doesn’t usually bother with a lot of editorial bias in Wales, because it’s always run by a nice safe pro-Union Labour government. If that changes…
