The SNP and Greens have refused to grant the freedom of Glasgow to the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Petty posturing by ignorant politicians who hate our great country's heroic armed forces. Even worse, in the same week, John Swinney crassly defended cosying up to Sinn Fein.

I disagree with Kenny Gibson on much - but he's unlike most SNP MSPs who are obedient party robots. His election to presiding officer hopefully means that John Swinney and his ministers are properly held to account and made to answer questions.
