Ukraine's President Zelenskyy is making a tour of Middle East countries that is a triumph of diplomacy. Having visited Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar he is now arriving in Jordan. Zelenskyy is securing defence cooperation agreements everywhere he goes.

Let this sink in. In 2015, the Iran nuclear deal capped uranium enrichment at 3.5% with full international inspections. The IAEA repeatedly confirmed Iran was complying. Trump’s own Secretary of Defence testified it was in America’s national security interest to keep it. Trump tore it up in 2018 because it had Obama’s name on it. Iran immediately accelerated its nuclear program — exactly what the deal was designed to prevent. Eight years, a war, thousands of lives, and billions of dollars later — Trump’s envoys are now trying to negotiate the same enrichment limits and verification measures that already existed in the deal he destroyed. Read that again. He broke a working agreement. Created the crisis. Started a war. And is now trying to negotiate his way back to where we started — except now with less leverage, more enemies, and a body count. This isn’t dealmaking. This is ego dressed up as foreign policy. A man who burned down the house and is now asking for credit because he called the fire brigade. Meanwhile, the rest of the world — including Australia — is paying the price. Fuel shortages. Economic instability. A region in flames. All because one man couldn’t tolerate his predecessor’s name on a functioning agreement. The Art of the Deal in reverse.

STUBB: For 1% of Ukrainian land, Russia lost 500,000 soldiers. Ukrainians are killing over 30,000 Russians per month, and Russia can't recruit enough replacements. This may force a problematic general mobilization on Russian side. Plus, the Russian economy continues to suffer.

This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America.  Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion. They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us. This was not a drill. This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans. Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst. Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends. The American people deserve to know how badly this president has damaged our standing in the world.  bbc.com/news/articles/…

@BasedMikeLee Yeah I read it: "the State shall not accept and process an application to register to vote... unless the applicant presents documentary proof of United States citizenship with the application.” A Drivers License does NOT indicate your place of birth, so it does NOT count

Trump won in 2024 because of men. They are abandoning him right now. He won men by 13 pt in 2024, but his net approval is now -7 pt with them. Men under 45: Trump won by 5 pt in 2024. Now he's 19 pt underwater with them. On cost living, he's now 30 pt underwater with men!

Remember this? Trump & Putin, Helsinki 2018. Met for approximately 30 minutes, alone, no cameras, no recordings, no transcripts. After that, Trump has bowed to Putin on every occasion. Look at Trumps face! Explains it all. The moment the blackmailing began.

When I started working on UK energy in 2007, fossil fuels provided ~78% of electricity. Coal alone: 34%. Wind & solar: less than 2%. Today: wind & solar 33%, fossil fuels 28%, coal 0%. The chart below tells the story better than words can.

@WallStreetMav The public doxxing them is not a thing The well-founded shame is why they hide. Ask them. One estimate is 80% would quit rather than letting their wives and kids or neighbors know what they did. Masks prevent their identities be known to loved ones.

The White House is beginning to make concessions so Democrats can reopen DHS. Number 3 is most troubling: enforcing visible officer identification. If this includes their names, they’ll be subject to doxxing. Why do Republicans always let Democrats govern as the minority? Follow: @WallStreetMav
Jake Sherman@JakeSherman

NEWS -- WHITE HOUSE has sent a letter to the Hill with changes they are willing to make to DHS to re-open the agency. This is quite the distance from what Democrats want. But there's been a frustration that the Hill has no idea what's going on. And the admin thinks that this could be enticing to some Dems. pbwl.news/94fc98 (yes, text subscribers got it first)

@lauriewoodpile @JessicaTarlov But only 5 states included birth place and date on Real IDs, so only those voters in those 5 states - NY, WA, MN and 2 others - have RealIDs that include the citizenship proof needed.

@JessicaTarlov Did you read the bill? In 2005 the real ID act passed. Most Americans have real ID. Ask anyone with a bank account, flying on a plane, working a job, driving a car or who is working. Gaslighting isn’t a good look on you.

Republicans are lying to the American people when they say the SAVE Act is a voter ID law—it’s a proof-of-citizenship requirement that would make voting harder, if not impossible, for a lot of people. Passports are expensive, documents don’t always match, and the process can be a mess (been there). We should be making voting easier, not adding more hurdles. Democrats can own this by proposing their own bill that accepts a range of IDs, and includes automatic voter registration and Election Day as a national holiday for starters.

@JessicaTarlov Or simply sending the ID to every citizen based on their recorded birth place and date. If a government has been able to use this data to send 18 yr olds draft notices since the 1960s, before computers, it surely can do it now.
