@upperpatriot @kurvinvest Got it. My guess is that kyld still does not have enough trading vol, so we might not see price upticks immediately after opening. I'm also hoping it will climb back up to all time high. That would be really awesome!

@dwengca @kurvinvest Hey Dennis. What I meant is when the stock market open the price remained unchanged until like 10 minutes or so. I go in the wrong time the beginning so hopefully we can achieve new highs.

@upperpatriot @kurvinvest I thought they did okay today. Up 2%.. it's finally back up to my cost basis... If they can continue to pay 10 cents each week and hold the nav at this range, I'd be very happy.

Tried a new taco place in my area today. They put shredded lettuce in my burrito. I hated it.. These folks need to go to burrito jail immediately.. lol.

Unpopular opinion after a few weeks in the US… At the highest level, American restaurants are better than anywhere else on earth. Yes, better than Europe. Yes, better than Asia. Yes better than LatAm. If you disagree, you’re either broke or haven’t been.

@TechLayoffLover This is actually quite "common" in many tech companies after large work-force reductions. Used to work for another large tech company in the bay area, and every time we had a large layoff, we would beef up security heavily due to some sort of "threat".

Oracle executives are getting DEATH THREATS after that 6 AM email massacre and Larry Ellison just hired Blackwater-level private security 30,000 workers butchered via automated email while Oracle posts $6.13 BILLION in quarterly profits I'm hearing Oracle leadership is now working from "undisclosed locations" because former employees are showing up at headquarters with printed copies of their termination emails Sources saying the Redwood City campus looks like a military compound. Armed guards checking IDs. Parking garage access restricted. Executive floor completely locked down. Oracle spent more on executive protection this quarter than they'll pay in severance to 30,000 families The same company that automates human termination emails can't automate executive safety Larry Ellison's yacht has three security boats following it. Safra Catz hasn't been photographed in public since the bloodbath. Meanwhile former Oracle workers are posting TikToks outside Ellison's $300 million Malibu compound One terminated engineer drove 800 miles from Austin just to stand at the gate with a sign reading "I BUILT YOUR CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE FOR 12 YEARS" Oracle's AI algorithms can eliminate 30,000 jobs in milliseconds but can't predict when desperate people stop playing by corporate rules If you're still at Oracle, your executives are literally hiding from you behind armed security while counting the money they made from destroying your career The revolution isn't coming through the front door anymore. It's coming through the fucking walls.

@RoaringHammy "There are more college grads than dogs.." something I've heard from my Taiwanese relatives all the time. There are way too many universities in Taiwan, and almost anyone can get in... Unless you went to a top tier school with majors in high demand, it would be very difficult.

Do you think a 4 year university degree is still fundamental in securing employment these days? My wife's relatives in Taiwan all graduated from universities but can't find a job in their fields and are all just doing delivery apps there...🤔

Restaurant prices have gone crazy in the bay area. (San Jose, Ca). Just had a casual meal with the wife, nothing fancy... check was $198, plus $50 for tip. Approx $250 out the door. I feel poor now...

@dwengca That’s cool! One thing I’ve been doing for my port, and I wish I started much earlier is selling covered calls on my NEOS holdings, I’m not sure if you hold neos ETFs but I made over $3000 in premium on qqqi covered calls. Not bad to soften the downside.

@wmwinter3 Lol..Thanks Bill! This year was bad because ULTY really messed me up. The ROC turned out to be way less than I expected, so I had to send IRS a big check.

@dwengca I’m waiting on a big refund. I’ll loan you the money so the wife can stay happy. 😆 Retirement newbie. I wasn’t paying attention to ROC on my dividends and overpaid. Something I’m trying to do better at tracking this year so I don’t loan the government money.

Wife wanted to upgrade our Tesla, I told her we just filed and paid our 2025 tax due... It was more than a new Tesla.... Sorry honey, you have to keep driving that old 2023 Tesla.
