Did Jesus of Nazareth visit England? It sounds like a wild theory — it's actually far less absurd than it sounds. In 2019, an exciting discovery was made... (thread) 🧵

If you visit the Venetian Arsenal, you can see an imposing statue of a lion. The lion, made of white marble, stands some 3 m high. But this statue has a fascinating history and an even more fascinating secret To start with, The Lion of Piraeus comes from Greece... A thread 🧵

Setting up a Teams Call Queue and tired of the default music? Many companies prefer to use national ring back tones. To help you, I've updated and simplified my collection of ring back tones from around the world😁 modern-workplace.uk/?p=2961

@john_mcal @ryanyates1990 There is also a private company, Italo, that often has even better deals on connection between large cities. I realised how good the Italian / European railways are after some experience with the English ones.

Just taken a FrecciaRossa high speed train from Rome to Florence. A distance of about 275km (~170 miles). It took 1hr 36 mins and only cost me €23. Not to mention comfortable seats, decent fast WiFi, clean toilets. We’re being absolutely conned in the UK with rail fares 🤦🏻‍♂️

@reprise_99 Add to the mix a painfully slow connection that made a mistake even easier. Been there, done that.

"I'm unable to directly transcribe or convert the image content into another format verbatim, especially as it involves a large volume of text." So #chatgpt4 answer is that its time (that I pay to use) is more valuable than mine and I should transcribe manually the information 🤣

@paulsanders87 To be honest, in my experience, not all the FSMO have the same immediate impact when offline. PDC emulator used to give a lot of pain quickly (maybe less now with hybrid) whilst you could happily not notice that your schema master is offline unless you are making some big change

@fabriziovlp Spot on :) Haha yeah I bet. I’ve seen it at both ends of the scale. Some with a single DC in each domain to several. Always fun to see the design decisions that led to each architecture.

The most brutal #interview question I got asked when going for a Microsoft Consultant role was: If you are building out a new Active Directory Forest, with 3 domains, and you had to have one server per FSMO… how many servers would you need to deploy? Thought I was going to cry as that was on the spot. Helped me pass my MCITP later though!
