Everyone's been worried AI will replace marketers. Welp, it already replaced the ones who had nothing original to say. If your value was "I can write decent copy quickly," that value evaporated. If your value was "I see things others miss," you became more valuable than ever.

if AI is taking dev jobs but a big AI market is devs whats the plan?

@DThompsonDev i think this is true for B2C but for B2B it matters a whole lot to people outside of tech eg how/where your data is held is a legal issue stack can influence browser support for web apps which is important for the whole org etc etc

Periodic reminder that the tech stack you use to ship a product only matters to other devs. End users only care that it's fast enough and does enough to let them get work done. Ship working maintainable things that solve people's problems.

@toddsaunders most software has alwasy been CRUD operations with some workflow on top so at least we have a bit more now

Claude code has taught me that 99% of startups are just wrappers on APIs with some workflow on top of it.

@Prathkum its fine if they represent the persons opinion and but just throwing slop out there for the sake of exposure is so annoying
