They don't I can tell from your tweet. Calling it nerfed is just mistaking presentation for function. The Avatar State was never a guaranteed win, it was always described as immense power plus risk. Even Aang couldn’t just solve everything with it, he lost control, got interrupted, and still needed other solutions. With Korra, the difference is she can control it, so it’s used deliberately instead of explosively. That makes it look less overwhelming, but it doesn’t make it weaker. And the show proves it’s not a win button by putting her against threats where raw power isn’t enough, Amon, Unalaq, Zaheer, Kuvira. Saying "ultimate card = should always win" just reduces the Avatar State to a game mechanic, when the story has never treated it that way.
