@sally_oh_brien @MrNunesteach Needed! As a teacher one would think this is common sense, like duh of course we are driven by our data! Once I became a coach it was crazy to see how many teachers think they just know where all 30 of their learners are with every standard without actually looking at the data.

What are the latest edu buzz words we should ditch and stop using?

@NataliaESL @MrNunesteach The root of brain based learning is brain science and teaching kids about how the brain works to make connections. Research tells us that when students have this basic background of how their brain works and develops there is a substantial increase in motivation for learning.
