@josephinejarrow @twitchy56209254 @KingBobIIV @Keir_Starmer The problem was that if you didn't want the Tories to stay in the only way was to vote red because every vote for the other parties would have been wasted as they wouldn't have got near enough votes to be in power. The system is shit Not surprised that only 53% of popltn voted

@twitchy56209254 @KingBobIIV @Keir_Starmer A lot of I'm All Right Jack smug middle class people voted #Labour because they were too blinkered to see what #Starmer is.
They have been protected by privilege. But Starmer will destroy everything they value.

Our country is coming to terms with an act so inexplicably vile.
Our thoughts are with the families at the heart of this unimaginable pain.
Let me be clear: the tiny, mindless minority in our society who provoked violent disorder on our streets will be made to face the full force of the law.
English

@Nihil1349 @gmpolice This is the problem, you don't care what happened first! If it was against the law then the Police are there to uphold the law. That's their job. They don't just randomly walk up to people and try to arrest them.

Good morning @HM_Passport. My 10 year old son’s 2nd passport expires in March. I completed an online application for his 3rd passport stating my wife, his mum died 3 years ago. Your office has asked for proof I’m his dad. I’ve applied for birth & marriage certs from GRO as

Just a dog.
From time to time people tell me “chill out, it’s just a dog” or “it’s a lot of money just for a dog.” They don't understand the distance traveled, the time invested, or the costs incurred by "just a dog".
Some of my proudest moments have occurred with “just a dog.”
Many hours have passed being my only company "just a dog", but not for one moment did I feel despised. Some of my saddest moments have been because of “just a dog,” and on those gray days, the gentle touch of “just a Dog” gave me comfort and the reason to get through the day.
If you also think “it’s just a dog”, then you’ll probably understand phrases like “just a friend”, “just a sunrise” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person.
For "just a dog" I will get up early, take long walks and look forward to the future. So for me and people like me, it’s not “just a dog,” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the memories of the past, and the absolute joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out the good in me and takes my thoughts away from myself and daily worries.
I hope one day they can understand that it’s not “just a dog”, but the one that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a human.” So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog”, just smile because they “just don’t get it”.
“Just A Dog,” by Richard A. Animals.

@willrob186 @jackp593 Yeah I think it's a dead duck too but society and government need to act somehow on all of the gang culture in the UK. The gang culture comes from American movies. Our teenagers actually think it's like that in the states when it's actually very different.
English

@jackp593 Agreed. Ill considered & the Forces are not there to fix society’s ills. We’re not at war (when actually I’m pretty certain a vast number of civilians would sign up) & our global persistent presence is much smaller than in the days of conscription & post war. This is a dead duck.

Sick of seeing these tweets!

@KingLeo16296 @MarielaBBastid1 @EndWokeness Peaceful means does not mean blocking major highways and restricting the supply of food and medicine to a major city.
English

@MarielaBBastid1 @EndWokeness Taking the law into one's own hands is not an acceptable way to address environmental concerns. Resolving such issues should be done through legal and peaceful means that respect human life and safety.

@ELJefeReviews I’ll check it out in the store, thanks for the tip. I have a 15 year old Samsung tv that’s still thriving so I kinda wanna stick to Samsung but I’m open to suggestions haha.

@jonwud @kirkleescollege So sorry to hear about your experience John, that sounds truly awful. I have positive memories of working with you, especially when we did that peer observation where we recorded ourselves. I still cringe at that 😂
English

Last day @kirkleescollege after 22 years!!! From ESOL, to teacher education, with a short stint in Access. I’ve always been Team KC, it’s been a great college to work in, fabulous people & lots of support for my forays into practitioner-research. So long, and thanks for all the..
English

@cathywint @kirkleescollege All the best Cathy! Hope it goes well for you. 👍
English

@cathywint @kirkleescollege They changed the goalposts for my job and then told three of us we were underperforming!! When I went off sick they even refused to pay sick pay due to a new clause in the sick pay policy about underperforming. I'll never be an employee again for anyone after that #selfemployed
English

@cathywint @kirkleescollege I had been a dedicated employee for all of my employers but @kirkleescollege set on someone who was vindictive and out to get me and my colleagues. It made me ill for the first time in my career. I got zero support from the head of engineering and zero support from HR.
