This weekend's Ijtima in Barham was due to be attended by over 10,000 Muslims.
Instead, it ended early after a credible extreme right-wing terrorism-related threat to the lives of those present.
Twelve individuals have now been arrested as part of an investigation led by Counter Terrorism Police.

I thank Suffolk Police, Counter Terrorism Policing, and the organisers for their swift and effective response that undoubtably saved lives. Twelve individuals have now been arrested.
I know this is deeply concerning news for British Muslims.
We must stand against hatred and we must unite around our shared belief in a country that is open, generous and tolerant to all our communities.

It’s official - chivalry is dead.
Just been on a packed train. Some older women were having to stand because there were no seats.
I gave mine up to one of the ladies.
But not a single man offered to give theirs up to the other.
Lots of men in their 20s to 40s were on seats.
