@locust9 Yeah, but I think by playing it "safe" it loses meaning and becomes gratuitous. This was at least slightly more okay in the past, because we didn't have hot wars in Europe. Now we have young people living war and are supposed to still find it entertaining.

@mannander yeah for sure. Clear to me the Pax Armada is a thinly veiled russian/eastern enemy. Which... aint that far off. Also the way things are going Hungary would be signing up if Orban was able.

@KimIversenShow Doesn't matter if those cases our outliers honestly. ANY risk of being detained at the border is something I don't want to put my family through.

@KimIversenShow I have relatives in the U.S., but have decided to put travel plans on hold until 2029. (Hoping that the 22nd Amendment still exists by 2028...) Several European countries have issued official warnings after tourists have been detained at the border.

After 10 weeks of being in Europe I learned everyone…Italians, Germans, Danes, French etc are all afraid to even visit the States. They all really think they’re going to be deported the minute they land.

@KimIversenShow I’ve noticed Europeans are way more susceptible to propaganda then Americans. Every time I travel and talk European people at bars they repeat the same three talking points (mass shootings, healthcare, tipping).

@JaqubAjmal You don't. All of this was also self-imposed. It wasn't like someone forced western businesses to move labor to other countries. So for the richest country in the world to suddenly turn on everyone and throw a tantrum is just ... absurd.

@locust9 How it matters whether something is "realistic" or not in video games is one of those things I'll simply never understand. Especially not when weighing "unrealism" against accessibility for the widest possible audience.
