🚨 CBSE mandates that two of the three languages must be native to India, with English as the third, leaving no room for another foreign language like French or German.

Francis Xavier’s War on Hindu Dharma: Mass Temple Destruction, Idol Smashing, and the Use of Children Francis Xavier arrived in India in 1542 with just two other missionaries. He didn’t speak the local languages, so he memorized a short catechism translated into Tamil and went from village to village ringing a bell, gathering children and adults, forcing them to repeat Christian prayers until they memorized them by heart. He especially focused on children from the newly baptized Parava fishing communities. These were not street kids or orphans — they were local children who still lived at home with their parents and relatives. In his own letters, he openly bragged about using these children against their own families. Here’s exactly what he wrote: ‘These children, I trust heartily, by the grace of God, will be much better than their fathers. They show an ardent love for the Divine law, and an extraordinary zeal for learning our holy religion… Their hatred for idolatry is marvellous. Whenever I hear of any act of idolatrous worship, I go to the place with a large band of these children, who very soon load the devil with a greater amount of insult and abuse than he has lately received of honor and worship from their parents… The children run at the idols, upset them, dash them down, break them to pieces, spit on them, trample on them, kick them about, and in short heap on them every possible outrage.’ He also wrote about destroying temples: ‘When all are baptized I order all the temples of their false gods to be destroyed and all the idols to be broken in pieces. I can give you no idea of the joy I feel in seeing this done, witnessing the destruction of the idols by the very people who but lately adored them.’ He especially hated Brahmins because they were the frontline defenders of Hindu Dharma. He called them ‘as perverse and wicked a set as can anywhere be found… liars and cheats to the very backbone… If it were not for the Brahmins, we should have all the heathens embracing our faith.’ He didn’t swing the hammer himself, but he trained these children to turn against their own parents’ temples and gods, gave the direct orders, and openly rejoiced in the destruction of hundreds of temples and idols. That’s the truth, straight from his own letters. No sugar-coating.
