Met a guy recently. Just retired at 63. $2M saved. House paid off. Zero debt. Did everything right for 30 years. Claimed Social Security early. Started pulling $110,000 a year from his IRA. Nobody told him those two decisions would collide. 85% of his Social Security is now taxable. His bracket jumped. Tax bill his first year of retirement was bigger than when he had a paycheck. And in two years when he hits 65 and goes on Medicare, IRMAA kicks in and his premiums spike on top of it. His advisor never saw it coming. Who was supposed to catch that?

@mdecav No, status is updated to reflect the surgery/surgery date if it's the same IL stint during the same season. But, for example, if they ended 2025 on the IL with elbow discomfort and had surgery in the offseason, they'd have a new entry in 2026 showing (TJ surgery). Very common.

@Godfather1NFBC @TheReal_NFC The last two years the Tuesday Main before OD has had a majority of live drafters, just not this year. These are Greg’s call. Solution: announce in advance if a live Main Event is “cancellable” or not and people can plan accordingly.

Um, maybe make sure they fill a Main Event or not have one a Monday after the weekend there which makes no sense. I'm for as many Mains as possible, but market them more to fill more of the live ones or put them on a different day to ensure a better chance of filling it. And FYI, they cancelled the Sunday live Main Event in Jersey and we had four in that one the week before. 🤷

My first post on here after years of only replies lol. The least attended live Main Event ever (3 live, the rest online) but it was quite fun to have an open discussion about our picks. @TheReal_NFC
