@Mars32297252 @5Solas2 No there were still disagreements on if those books were inspired scripture or not. This has nothing to do with the Jews shaping our worldview which is just not true. They are Antichrist and not an “ally” whatsoever. However, like I said, New Testament writers did not quote these

The early Christian church was all Jewish, and they accepted those books. I care not of the opinions of those that reject Christ, whereas protestants have had their worldview shaped by these people.

@Mars32297252 @5Solas2 No, your councils are the ones that edited the bible. The Jews already had the old testament and did not accept the apocryphal books. Those were written during the 400 years of silence, or the inter-testamental period.

@Mars32297252 @5Solas2 No, you’re the one grasping at straws. Just because Jesus never said the word “trinity” he described it multiple times. Also “Bible” stems from the Greek word which means “book” or “the book.”
Also the early church definitely had disagreements on scripture.

@Mars32297252 @5Solas2 The Holy Spirit has authority over the scriptures. Regardless of who “put it together” the Holy Spirit was still in control. The reason those books are rejected is because they don’t align with the New Testament or the old testament. They were written in the inter-testamental era

@mothaprophet @5Solas2 The original Christian church was using the Apocrypha & it wasn’t until much later, after the Christ rejecting / Christ killing Jews then decided to stop follow those books.
At that point, the Jews were persecuting Christians and the Christians didn’t care about their opinions.
