If an electric car tries to recharge itself from its own wheels while driving, it’s basically like this:
👉 You take energy from the battery to move the car
👉 Then try to take energy back from the moving wheels
But here’s the catch:
To generate electricity from the wheels, you slow the car down
So the motor has to use extra battery power to keep it moving
And every step wastes energy as heat and friction
So you end up:
using more energy than you recover
It’s like trying to fill a bucket with water while the bucket itself is leaking — you can move the water around, but you can’t increase it.
That’s why electric cars don’t recharge themselves while driving.
